Tony Khan: QT Marshall “Gonna Be Okay” After Double or Nothing Fall, Mick Foley Set for Long-Term Role
AEW President Tony Khan provided an update on QT Marshall following a scary fall during the Double or Nothing pre-show, saying Marshall “is gonna be okay” after slipping off the top rope in a tower-of-doom sequence and being assisted backstage. The incident occurred during the Buy In match where Marshall teamed with “Big Boom” AJ and The Conglomeration against Shane Taylor Promotions.
Khan also confirmed Mick Foley has officially signed with AEW and praised pairing Foley with Renee Paquette as a long-term hosting and contributor team, calling their debut an excellent start despite a brief altercation before the show. Foley’s arrival included confronting MJF and hyping Darby Allin ahead of his AEW World Championship match, with Khan expressing enthusiasm for Foley’s ongoing role in the company.
