Tony Khan Sends Support to Tanea “Rebel” Brooks Following ALS Diagnosis
All Elite Wrestling’s Tanea Brooks, known to fans as Rebel, revealed on social media that she has been diagnosed with the terminal stage of ALS. The announcement prompted an outpouring of support from the wrestling community and concerns about her health and future in and out of the ring.
AEW President Tony Khan addressed the diagnosis during the Double or Nothing post-show media scrum, sending his best wishes to Brooks and noting that the promotion and its talent are rallying around her. Khan also discussed the possibility of leveraging AEW’s Fight for the Fallen event to support ALS research and related efforts on Rebel’s behalf.
