Two title matches and Mason Rook’s in-ring debut set for next week’s WWE NXT

NXT will feature two championship defenses next week as NXT Women’s North American Champion Tatum Paxley defends against Lizzie Rain and tag champions Vanity Project put their titles on the line against DarkState. The show will also see Mason Rook make his in-ring debut teaming with Kam Hendrix against Tony D’Angelo & Myles Borne, while Keanu Carver faces Tate Wilder.

Paxley announced Rain as her next challenger after the two teamed to win a tag match earlier in the night, and DarkState’s interruption of Vanity Project hinted at continued dissension among Dion Lennox and Shaquon Shugars. Rook officially signed with NXT and made a big impact by hitting a moonsault during a backstage altercation, and Wilder’s loss prompted him to request another opportunity that became the Carver matchup.
