Wardlow Reportedly in New York Ahead of AEW Double or Nothing
AEW’s Double or Nothing goes down May 24, 2026 at Louis Armstrong Stadium in Queens, and Fightful Select reports former three-time AEW TNT Champion Wardlow is in town ahead of the pay-per-view. It remains unclear whether Wardlow will make an appearance at the event, as no official plans have been announced.
Wardlow last returned at the 2025 AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door in London but was sidelined weeks later with a torn pectoral, and he previously suffered a fully torn left bicep prior to filming Amazon Prime’s American Gladiators — choosing to wear a sleeve rather than undergo surgery. Sources say he’s been showing up at a number of AEW events while preparing for a full-ring comeback; his last match was in March 2024.
