Will Ospreay Reacts to The New Day’s Free-Agent Status, Open to AEW Matchup
Will Ospreay was recently asked about his thoughts on The New Day following the trio’s WWE release, and he offered measured praise for Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods’ impact on the business. Ospreay acknowledged their legacy as a top tag team in WWE and said their free-agent status creates interesting possibilities for the broader wrestling landscape.
When asked about the prospect of facing The New Day in AEW, Ospreay indicated he would welcome the challenge and thinks crossover matches benefit fans and the industry. With Kofi and Woods still unsigned, Ospreay’s comments add intrigue to potential matchups should the former WWE stars explore options outside WWE.
