Will Ospreay Reveals Neck Surgery Limits, Thanks Tony Khan for Covering Costs
Will Ospreay says his neck surgery has left him with restrictions that have forced him to stop certain high-risk moves, including the shooting star press, because of limited range of motion and concerns about putting pressure on his neck. He told Forbes that the injury and recovery — which included surgery for two herniated discs — had him fearing he might never wrestle again, and he praised surgeon Dr. Wallace for giving him a second chance.
Ospreay also publicly thanked AEW President Tony Khan for covering the surgery costs, joking the bill was “more expensive than my f**king house,” and noted how modern medicine allowed him to return after six months. He made his comeback at AEW Revolution and resumed action on the March 18 edition of Dynamite against Blake Christian while targeting the Death Riders.
