WWE Files Trademark for “WWE Superstar Scramble” in Possible Video Game Move
WWE quietly filed a trademark for the name WWE Superstar Scramble on May 10, with the application listing a wide range of video game goods — from video and computer game tapes, discs, cartridges and CD-ROMs to online and wireless video game software and coin-operated amusement machines. The filing suggests a video game tie-in, though WWE has not confirmed the project or provided details on platform, gameplay or release plans.
The move comes as WWE 2K26 launched worldwide on March 13 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PC (Steam) and Nintendo Switch 2, featuring 400 playable characters and CM Punk on the standard edition cover, indicating WWE’s continued investment in gaming content. Whether WWE Superstar Scramble represents a new standalone title, a mobile/online experience or supplemental release to the 2K series remains to be seen.
