AEW’s Hook Set for GCW World Title Shot in Los Angeles
AEW standout Hook has been announced for two upcoming GCW dates, making his debut against Joey Janela at GCW Race Against Time on June 16, 2026, before challenging Atticus Cogar for the GCW World Championship at GCW Amerika’s Most Wanted on June 27, 2026. The title match is scheduled for the Ukrainian Cultural Center in Los Angeles, with GCW confirming the booking via its event announcements.
Currently active on the AEW roster, Hook recently competed on the Double or Nothing card, teaming with The Opps (Anthony Bowens & Katsuyori Shibata) in a loss to The Death Riders (Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta, & Daniel Garcia). The son of veteran Taz, Hook has also been serving as The Opps’ acting leader during Samoa Joe’s absence.
