Andrew’s JCW Lunacy Results & Match Ratings: Ep# 85
American Title, World Title and Tag Team Belts all on the line! Any title changes? Any craziness? Check out the clowns!
The drama between Violent J and Russo continues. Their allegiances get questioned, there’s conspiracy theories everywhere and that’s not even the half of it.
We still don’t know where Yabo is, Dani is looking out for number 1 with her own hit list, The Outbreak are still fiending for more drugs and The Ring Rat is causing issues with Big Al. Caleb Konley still has two weeks of hell left, and Kerry Morton keeps trying to make his mark.
With all the different things going on, even if it’s chaos incarnate, the show should remain entertaining.
Steven Flowe has taken back The Ring Rat.. for now.

Dani Mo comes out to claim she found the title on the floor and that possession is 9/10ths of the law. Dani hints that her change of heart is caused by something from her past, but before she explains herself, J-Rod comes out. Dani tries to use the possession phrase again, J-Rod says “Fuck the law, I’m coming to assault you!”
The two of them brawl from the ring, through the crowd. Dani is using bar stools, different chairs and items in the audience. J-Rod gets the best of things, rocks Dani and throws her back towards the ring. J-Rod goes for the Spear through the guardrail, but Dani moves out of the way. Things go back into the ring, J-Rod catches Dani with the Spinebuster, J-Rod connects on the Spear and talks shit. Sophia Rose then runs out to hit her Split Stunner to leave J-Rod laying so Dani can run off with the title belt again.

JCW American Championship: Father Bronson vs Facade
This is what Red Love is all about, as Mac Davis being the special guest referee…a screw job against Facade seems very possible.
Mac Davis changes the rules to an I Quit match, as soon as he walks out. Facade does have one of the best nicknames though, Neon Ninja is very cool. As soon as the bell rings, Facade throws a few kicks and hits a Lionsault into Bronson, sending Bronson to powder. Facade follows him out, and lights up Bronson, and crotches Bronson on the guardrail. Facade talks some crap to Mac, and then hits a Jumping Spin Kick to knock Bronson off the guardrail.
Facade attempts a Baseball Slide, but Bronson moves and then starts a few clubbing blows and Muay Thai Knees to work over Facade. Bronson drops Facade on the apron as they slowly re-enter the ring. Mac goads Facade, Bronson continues to the strikes, Release Northern Lights Suplexes, Stomps and Mac continues to ask Facade if he quits, in a goading way. Bronson starts the Ground and Pound, followed by chokes. Facade tries to power up, Round Kicks, Lionsault, and the Neon Ninja is looking for a second wind.
Bronson eats a Back Elbow, then Boot, Ninziguiri! Facade goes to the top, Mac admonishes Facade for going to the top rope and says no top rope. Bronson is fighting back and tries the Cloverleaf but Facade kicks him away. Facade brings down Elbows and locks in a Dragon Sleeper but Mac refuses to check on if Bronson quits. Bronson fights it off and they start throwing hands. Bronson rocks Facade up the ramp, and they start slowly working up the ramp. Back Rake, Stomp to the back and Bronson looks for something but Facade fights back. Round Kicks from Facade, but an Elbow, Knee Lift, and Bronson wants a Powerbomb, but Facade counters. A few kicks, a PK, and Facade goes for a Straight Jacket choke, but Mac refuses to care when Facade has hope spots.
We see Bronson lay in a few shots, drag Facade towards the ring, tries an Outside In Suplex, but a Stun Gun from Facade grants him space! Facade runs the ramp, goes for a Springboard, but Mac Davis shakes the ropes to trip Facade and watch him crash. Bronson wants a Superplex, but Facade fights him off, rope walk, jumps over Mac Davis to hit the Flying Kick into Bronson and a Cobra Clutch of sorts is locked in, Mac again refuses to check. Facade shoves Mac down, goes under the ring for a chair. Mac tries to stop him, Facade uses it anyway and squeezes Bronson’s head in in the chair.
Facade rams Mac with the chair, but gets up and hits Facade with a chair. Bronson tells Mac to wait, puts in the Cloverleaf and Mac asks Facade, but Facade is knocked out. They do the three arm raises, Facade is out, Bronson wins!
Violent J tells Willie Mack that tonight is personal, and the pain doesn't end after the 1-2-3.

Caleb Konley w/Vince Russo vs Pimp & Gimp Connection (Human Tornado & Zach Gowen)
For the first time in 15 years, Pimp & Gimp return to help ruin Caleb’s life.
Pimp & Gimp are two time JCW Tag Champs, and it’s Handicap rules. Caleb tries fight off both but Tornado catches Caleb, Leg Drop, Hop Along Senton, Forearms and Side Kicks from Tornado. Caleb goes outside to try and figure out something, he tries to fight off a Sunset Flip but the referee does the ole Kyohei Wada and kicks Caleb’s hands off, for the two count. Caleb connects on a few strikes and a Back Breaker for two. Caleb tries to get in the refs face, nearfall with from Zach. Kerry Morton walks out, talking shit about Russo saying Bro 84 times. But Russo gets up and calls Future Endeavors, so they start beating the piss out of Kerry, while the match is going on in the ring.
Tornado with a nice kick combination on Caleb, but Caleb fights off. Near falls from Pimp and Gimp, Caleb is getting rocked by Tornado’s Dance Stomp and Zach’s Senton. Zach hits the Moonsault! But only a two count still! Caleb hits the Doub…erhm…single leg on Gowen, Reverse Inside Cradle spot to nearly have Caleb lose to Gowen. Caleb in full control, Tornado ducks the Chop, hits his own Pimp Slaps, but misses the last one and clocks Gowen! Caleb hits the Burning Hammer on Tornado and Caleb wins!
Surprisingly fun and pretty good match.
In a backstage segment Violent J reverses the American Title decision. He gives it back to Facade since the whole match was a set up screwjob.
JCW Lunacy World Championship: CoKane w/Big Al vs Steven Flowe w/Ring Rat
Big Al is cuffed to Ring Rat to make sure she doesn’t interfere.
CoKane comes in fast, beats the hell out of Steven. Snake Eyes, into the Rebound Boot, CoKane goozles Steven, but Steven kicks the knees and Stomps a Mudhole in him to try and get some space. CoKane reverses the Whip, but Steven floats through the ropes, a little juke boots, goes for an Oscutter or something, but gets caught and then counters CoKane. Both are countering each other, but Steven hits a Whisper in the Wind for two. Flowe charges, but eats a Big Boot. CoKane flips off Rat, but the distraction helps Flowe stop CoKane’s offense. They fight up the ropes, jockeying, Last Ride…nope! Flowe slips wants a Spicolli Driver, but nope, Coke Slam, but Flowe turns the mask. CoKane accidentally Coke Slams the referee because he can’t see. Flowe hits CoKane with the guitar.
Ring Rat sprays Al with perfume as Flowe throws the keys to Rat. Al knocks out the Rat, and Al removes the cuffs. CoKane does the sit up, Flowe eats a Coke Thunder Bomb. Cocaine power up! Big Al gets in the ring and they do a combination Coke Slam/Saito Suplex. The referee comes to, counts the three. CoKane and Big Al seem to be on the same page, but HoKane doesn’t seem to like Big Al’s involvement.
Broke Ass Breyer Wellington vs Gisele Shaw
Breyer clocked Freya after they came out during Gisele’s contract signing, then he challenges her to a match. He claws her back, goes for a nerve hold, but Gisele fights up but a Kitchen Sink cuts off her comeback. Another back rake from Breyer, he chokes Gisele against the ropes, Snapmare, and another nerve hold. Breyer continues to cut off Gisele’s comeback attempts, Bow and Arrow submissions and he’s just stretching Gisele.
She gets back to her feet, a few combination kicks including a High Snap Kick, Gisele goes up, but Breyer puts the foot up. Breyer winds up for a Ushigoroshi, but the referee gets knocked out. Freya comes out after the ref bump and Chokeslams Breyer and a Swing Out Uranage. Freya puts Gisele on top and Gisele wins.
Choppa City vs Future Endeavors vs Backseat Boyz
Prior to the match, Backseats have a promo and they admit to attacking Tony and Willie a few weeks ago. Tommy Grayson was offended that when he was injured Violent J didn’t send a card or anything. So they feel bitter.
Backseats have their backs turned as they’re being a little cocky, so Endeavors and Choppa gang up on Backseats to start with. Sack of Shit from Shane Mercer, Endeavors turn around Irish Whips and start lighting up Bruce. Backseats come back and channel the OG Backseats of Trent Acid and Johnny Kashmere with the Dream Sequence. Mercer breaks up the fall then lifts both men and Dangerous Double Backdrop. He lifts Tommy, Cross Stomps onto the back and Mercer turns it into a Spicolli Driver. Bruce Wayans breaks it up with a chop. Atiba is waiting on the corner for a Chop sequence, but Cross with the Enzuigiri, Mercer with the Avalanche Sack of Shit.
Kerry Morton hits the ring with a One Way sign and lays out the Endeavors, but once Mercer fires, Kerry runs and Mercer follows him. Backseats want the T-Gimmick, but Bruce Chops up the Tea. Double Leg Lariat lays out the Boyz. Sucka Busta from Choppa City on JP Grayson, and Choppas win!
Joel Gertner interrupts the broadcast. He starts his promo and then stops and says he doesn’t want to do a promo. But then proceeds to do his naughty nurse rhyme, says it’s not about him though, it’s about the “one whose coming”. He continues to reminisce about his story, even though it’s not about him. It’s unhinged but fabulous. He says the man is the shit that killed Elvis, whatever you think he is, triple it…then its like Chuck Norris jokes. Making a dollar out of fifteen cents. It’s rambling but beautiful, and apparently the person is coming next week. Gertner is still salty about getting screwed a bit at the onset of TNA.
JCW Tag Team Championship: Luciano Enterprises (Sally Boy & Vincenzo) vs 2 Tuff Tony & Willie Mack (c)
The Lucianos try to attack early but Willie and Tony turn it around and Double Shoulder Tackle Vincenzo. Vincenzo rakes the eyes though, tags in Sal, and Sal starts working over Willie. A little back and forth for position, Sally Boy tries a Crossbody but gets caught and thrown. Sal kicks Willie’s knee out and then Kips Up to keep some offense moving.
Willie dodges a corner charge, Tony tags in and a Double Backdrop, has Sal on the bad side of the ring, a few Chops, Dropped on his Head, kicked in the back. Tony hits the ropes, Vincenzo tries to hit Tony, but Tony levels Vincenzo. Sally has a High Kick for Tony once he turns around, and now the Lucianos are working over Tony. Vinnie distracts the referee, Vito gets in some pot shots on Tony, and a near fall. Tony has been getting isolated, as Vito also distracts the referee and Willie is getting frustrated.
Sally has a Choke, but Tony fires up, but Sal hits the Kitchen Sink sending Tony tumbling to the mat. Near fall, Willie breaks it up. Tony ducks the tandem Clothesline and hits a Flying Double of his own! Tony manages to tag in Willie, and Willie has Lariats and Kicks for all. Splash and a Pop-Up Forearm knocks out Sal. Willie goes for the pinfall, but Vinnie breaks up the pin. They perch Willie in the corner, Willie is trying to fight them off, but Tony gets up for the Tower of Doom spot. Violent J’s music plays. He’s going Chicken Hunting.
Vito meets J head on and they start brawling on the set and to the back. Back in the ring, Tony has Vito’s Kendo Stick, but Sal pulls the Eddie Guerrero to make it seem like Tony hit him. The referee disqualifies Tony. So they retain the titles but lose the match.
Overall Score: 7.25/10
This was a lot of fun, with decent wrestling to boot. The whole Bronson versus Facade match was a screwjob, but it made sense. Mac Davis has gone a bit too far, but when everyone else is saying Facade is taking short cuts and when he manhandles people, he should get some payback. Caleb managing to pull off victories with all these throwback classic opponents is pretty fun. He never wins super impressively, but it proves he’s a crafty heel and not fully carried by Vince stacking the deck for him. HoKane possibly feuding with Big Al over CoKane could be fun. Dani Mo and J-Rod will be a great match, I could take or leave Sophia Rose’s involvement, but like Meat Loaf said, two out of three ain’t bad.
Freya the Slaya and Gisele Shaw potentially teaming up could be neat. Not sure if they’re keeping Freya or if this was more to just emphatically screw Breyer, but either way it was good. Kerry Morton costing Future Endeavors the victory is good for their whole angle and this Vince hates Kerry thing. But in general the tag division is in an interesting spot. While Future Endeavors should be the next champions, Backseats, Choppas, Lucianos, Clowns and Outbreak could all make legitimate claims. The DQ loss should be a harbinger for Tony and Willie’s reign to be coming to an end soon. While I understand Tony is a JCW staple, it is kinda rough watching him in the ring. He should be a novelty act to just throw a Meteorite every so often and drink with the crowd.
But anyway, fun show. Definitely the best show one Thursdays the last few weeks.
