Andrew’s TNA Impact! Results & Match Ratings: 6.11.2026

The last few weeks have been god awful, there’s no mincing words. Myla Grace’s departure wasn’t that big of a deal since TNA never really used her. Steve Maclin leaving, now that’s bad for TNA. He’s one of those guys who went from irrelevant in WWE, to a major player in TNA. The fact that he asked for his release, is embarrassing, especially when his whole Feast or Fired case situation was a big storyline that brought interest to TNA.

I have very low expectations, and since we’re gonna get two random title matches 17 days before Slammiversary, I can’t help but assume it’s gonna amount to a whole lot of nothing. Let’s find out if I end up disappointed when I already have low expectations.

Results:

TNA World Championship: Mike Santana (c) vs Eric Young

Santana starts off with his back to EY just leaning on the top rope, almost like he was expecting EY to attack. Eric never does so Santana suddenly strikes and throws a few few haymakers, a Sitout Powerbomb and EY powders. Santana thinks about a Dive, but EY grabs Santana’s foot and pulls him out of the ring. Santana however doesn’t stop the offense, rocking EY with Chops until EY reverses an Irish Whip into the steps, a Slam into the Apron and then a Rude Awakening on the apron. We head to commercial after that.

Back from commercial and we see EY slips a move on the apron, snapping Santana’s neck against the top rope and Santana crumbles to the floor. EY brings Santana back into the ring, gets a near fall and spends far too long threatening the referee. Santana Reverses the Irish Whip, EY does the Flair corner Flip, runs to the opposite corner but Santana cuts him off and tosses him into the middle of the ring. They’re both down until the 6 count, Santana hits a Kip-Up and Santana has the advantage, Gamengiri, into a Wheelbarrow Bulldog and then a Rolling Buck Fifty for two. Big Chop from Santana, Iconoclasm into Spicolli Driver for another two count.

Spin the Block is dodged, EY slams the referee into Santana, so the ref is down. Santana hits the Spin the Block but there’s no referee to count the pin. Santana tries to revive the ref, then goes to EY to continue the match, EY kicks Santana in the balls, grabs the title and hits Santana with the title! Piledriver from Eric Young, but Santana manages to drape his hand on the bottom rope. EY goes for another Piledriver on the belt, but Ricky Sosa’s music hits. EY gets distracted enough and Santana crabs a flash Cradle for the title defense.

Nic Nemeth’s music hits, with the trophy, he looks a little conflicted on if he’s gonna cash in or not. Nic decides to help Santana up and grab a microphone. He says he’s a man of his word, he’s calling the shot for Slammiversary. This whole weird standoff lasts too long, you even hear someone in the crowd say “Do something”. It ends up a handshake…which is corny.

Mr. Elegance w/Personal Concierge vs Elijah

I…hate this. Coming out of the moronic Elijah and AJ Francis angle…and now he’s wrestling this moron. This dude is cringe…he makes Toru Yano look like Lou Thesz. 

Elijah gets served again at the beginning of the match, so Elegance attacks him and gets a flash Small Package.

Kill me now, this is garbage. AJ Francis walks out making fun of Elijah, as soon as AJ walks into the ring, Elijah Lariats him out of the ring and they brawl into the crowd. 

Then Lei Ying Lee’s music hits since the idiots it still out there and she kicks the shit out of him, does her Double Jump Corkscrew Blockbuster. Then Xia Brookside comes out, gets in a few licks, tries her Darkside DDT, but Lei turns it into Warrior’s Way. Lei wants her Double Jump move again, but Xia bails and they stare down. 

Lots of useless brawl fodder. I’m rarely mad at Xia or Lei being on the screen, but Mr. Elegance needs to be fired and the Elegance crew needs to go away. 

Eddie Edwards & Cedric Alexander w/Lish vs Fabian Aichner & Leon Slater

Leon starts, and Cedric tags out to Eddie instantly for the cheap heat. Eddie is getting caught because of Leon’s speed, Leap Frog, Feint Kick, and then tags out of Aichner. Cedric tries to interfere, but it just pisses off Aichner. He wipes out Cedric from the apron, hits the Tilt-a-Whirl Backbreaker on everyone. But Eddie slams Aichner into the buckles making him powder as Eddie attacks Leon in the corner, while Cedric manages to grab Fabian and X-Plex his ass into the apron as we go to commercial.

Coming back, Eddie crashes Fabian into the corner, quick tags where Fabian stays isolated with Suplexes, kicks and grounding holds to continue working over his injured back. Eddie Stomps, Headbutts, knocks Leon off the ring, and then Fabian fires. They have the dual Crossbodies, so simultaneous tag time, Leon with a Leg Lariat, a few extra kicks and Cedric is rocked. Cedric tries to counter into a Lumbar Check but Leon avoids it, hits the Spiderman Rebound Kick into the Crossover for a two count. Eddie breaks things up, but Aichner takes out Eddie, Cedric walks into a Superkick and Tornado DDT.

Brian and Bear show up for interference, but they’re fought off. Fabian slips a little on the Escalera, but takes out the tag team champs, Leon hits his corner jump spot because of course. Lish causes enough of an distraction to delay Leon. Leon tries a Springboard but Cedric turns it into a Lumbar Check for the win!

The System beatdown happens, and then Moose’s music hits. As Moose hits the ring, the System scatter like roaches. 

The Righteous come out for another convoluted Charles Manson knock off rambling promo. Apparently putting a poisonous flower in someone’s mouth isn’t to harm, but to show that they “decay”. I don’t mind Vinny Marseglia generally speaking, but this is a lame and rambling gimmick. They say they want the tag titles, Santino’s music hits. He makes the Tag Title Match at Slammiversary a Triple Threat Ladder Match. Vinny tries to say that the Hardyz are gone after last week, the lights go out, we hear Matt’s “Yesss” and a Ladder appears behind The Righteous and Dutch and Vinny look terrified. 

Heather, M & ASH by Elegance w/their two idiots vs Allie, Rosemary & Mara Sade

Mr Elegance trips Mara mid entrance, the Elgantos swam, Demon Bunny fights back and the Living Dead Girls stabilize. Mara throws M in the ring, and they start fighting, Mara hits her Chops, a hard Whip, her Body Roll taunt before back to back Splashes and Missile Dropkick for a near fall. Rosemary tags in, goes for the Arm Wring bite but M slips the grip and screams as she tags in ASH. ASH starts praying and doing the sign of the cross. Rosemary finds a blonde doll under the ring, it’s a voodoo doll as Rosemary pull the Dolls hair, then Mara makes ASH do the body roll. Allie bites the doll’s ass and ASH sells it.

The Elegance Brand gets control of the doll, they manage to fight back, Rosemary bites M’s hand and they have simultaneous kicks. Heather and Allie tag in. Allie does the Running Knee Lift, Upside Down and then ASH breaks it makes Allie crash to the outside. Mara chases ASH, M Carbon Footprints Rosemary. Concierge tried to use the doll to block Mara’s punch, but inside Mara knocks them all out, since ASH falls when the doll gets rocked. Heather tries for her Seated Spanish Fly but Rosemary holds Allie’s foot. Heather crashes and burns, Allie hits her Codebreaker, and that’s a wrap folks.

There was so much silly crap going on, but it was fun. ASH seemingly mesmerized by the doll could lead to something…or be absolutely nothing. You never know with TNA. 

TNA International Championship: Mustafa Ali (c) vs KC Navarro

KC slaps Mustafa at the bell, so Mustafa fires and runs KC from corner to corner and levels him with a Flying Back Elbow. Spiderman Save, KC dodges Mustafa’s charge, Electric Chair spin into a Satellite DDT. Ali powders, KC goes for a Dive that he turns into a Tornado DDT on the outside, and KC is rolling. He sees the International Title and looks up at the sky referencing his uncle…and then we go to commercial.

Coming back from commercial, Ali and KC are back in the ring, Ali has a Headlock Choke in, but KC gets to the ropes. This was caused after Skyler got involved and gave Ali a chance for a High Angle German Suplex. Ali tries the 450, KC moves and Ali eats the turnbuckle the only the way he’s able to. They both struggle to their feet, KC is throwing hands, whips in Ali, Ali kicks KC, KC Gamengiri on Ali. He climbs, Ali hits the Elbow, looks for an Avalanche DVD, but KC hits an Avalanche Cutter instead! KC tried the Blessing in Disguise, Ali shrugs it off, counter wrestling, FameASSer from KC for two! Ali goes for a Cradle with feet on the ropes, but the ref sees the feet. KC turns it into his own cradle for a two, then KC hits a quick Blessing in Disguise only for two. KC looks to go to the sky, Dropkick…nope Ali plucks him out of the sky and Sharpshooter! Ali retains!

Ali tries to keep the beat down going, but Nic Nemeth’s music hits. He’s looking for a way in, but doesn’t see it, Santana’s music hits and he comes out of the crowd. They shrug, and start fighting off the entirety of Order 4. Santana and Nemeth are back to back, Ali calls off the dogs. Ali tries a blind side attack when the energy dies down a little, Nic Superkicks  Ali. Then when Santana looks at helping KC…Nic finally hits the Danger Zone on Santana. 

Overall Score: 6/10

Still not a great show, definitely boring and somewhat by the numbers…but coming off the atrocity exhibition that was the last two weeks of what they call television…slightly above average is a welcome change. The pathetic thing is that the Tag Title Match was obvious since those are the only 3 tag teams in TNA. The Elegance Brand hasn’t defended the Knockouts tags since…March I think…and that’s because there’s no teams there. What is the point of having tag belts when you don’t have a division to support them?

Elijah and AJ is a dumb feud, it literally reeks of “we don’t know what to do with these guys but they’re too valuable to not use”. I also hate how they changed Elijah’s initial gimmick to essentially just Joe Hendry from America. Elijah is even rehashing the old Joe Hendry jokes like Uncle Phil and what not. Mr Elegance needs to go to the Undead Realm and get lost forever or change his gimmick and make a throw together tag team. I mean seriously. Also, even though I’d like to see tag teams in the company, Butcher and Blade suck…we don’t need either or them, and Sinner & Saint are dead weight. Give me anyone but those four wastes of locker room space. They couldn’t draw if you gave them chalk and a blacktop.

But yeah, a couple decent matches, fleshing out the Slammiversary card, even if it’s very underwhelming…but at least it wasn’t complete dog water.
