Andrew’s TNA Impact Results & Match Ratings: 6.18.2026

Holy clearance sale Batman! I know I’ve been calling for Dreamer and Delirious to both be ripped away from the Creative team, but it would be nice if we still had a few names left for the new guys to write for. Maclin gone, Tessa gone, Callihan gone, Luna gone, Rascalz gone (no one cares about Trey that’s why he’s always left behind), Santana will be gone, Slater…even though I think he’s garbage, he’s already halfway out the door. Just…yikes.

There we go, I went to the trouble of making TNA’s new Craigslist listing. This would be gangbusters if the Yellow Pages were still a thing or in your Super Market, on the local deli board for yard sales and flyers.

Let’s see what the last dregs of Dreamer creative has graced us with before Slammiversary…I shudder to think…

Results:

We open the show with Xia Brookside. Heel looks good on her, so I can’t complain about this aspect of the creative. She basks in the negative reactions for a moment, and she’s playing it up fairly well. Oh…and they kinda ruined her motivation trying to spin “Angel Warriors” as a vehicle for Xia not Lei. That’s…dumb, just be jealous don’t be delusional to boot, pick a struggle. She’s got the balls to call our Chinese Ricky Morton a dumbass for not seeing the betrayal coming, so Lei’s music cues of course. Lei says she treated her like a little sister, but now sees her for what she really is…a rat. She then goes into Chinese…and but translates when she gets in the ring and says she’s gonna beat her ass now and wrestles down Xia, Joey Styles is screaming “Catfight” somewhere. 

Security…all full grown men…can’t contain Xia or Lei, who are like 5’2″…this makes security look even dumber and then the brawl kinda stalls and is too slow. The spots are stupid…this is stupid…wow…pure garbage pull apart. 

Mustafa Ali & The Great Hands w/Tasha Steelz & Agent Zero vs KC Navarro, Mike Santana & Nic Nemeth

Skyler starts with Santana, but Nic tags himself in immediately which just annoys Santana. Nic wrestles Skyler to the ground, Nic fakes the tag to Mike and throws the hand to KC. Mind games, while KC is trying to play peace maker, so Order 4 attacks. Ali tries to charge KC, but KC dumps him, a Superkick from Nic dumps Skyler, Santana Powerbombs Hotch over the top rope into Order 4. The dysfunctional bunch hold the ring as we go to commercial.

Back from commercial and Order 4 are Triple Teaming a Team Toss/Catch/Flying Powerbomb. So the stereotypical “Heels take over during the break”, but KC starts the comeback almost immediately as he counters the Spicolli Driver into a Cutter. KC Leaps for Nic, but Skyler pulls him off the apron. KC kicks off Hotch and tags in Mike. Hotch tries the Leap Frog but gets caught in a Spicolli Driver, then Mike Dives into the other two. He calls for Spin the Block, but Nic tags himself in, hits a FameASSer, but only a two count. Santana is mad that Nic tried to steal the glory, so Order 4 gloms them in the ring, and then hits The Favor, but KC Navarro breaks the pinfall! KC throws out Ali, and then follows him into a Tornado DDT on the floor.

Double Suplex from Great Hands, but Mike saves Nic. Double Rolling Buck Fifty into a Double Danger Zone and both Santana and Nic pin a Great Hand and glare at each other like hungry dogs over a bone. A cool finish honestly.

Ryan Nemeth attacks Santana from nowhere! KC tries to stop Ryan, Santana Spins the Block, but misses Ryan and Spins KC! As Mike is besides himself, Nic hits the Superkick on Santana.

We get a King’s Speech…yikes. But Kazarian gives us a Jericho “Windy Apple…Appleton” style of historic rundown on the Ultimate X Match. While he does have more experience with those, it’s not like it was his brainchild. Leon and Cedric come out, Kaz asks him how it felt that Cedric broke his dream, and then when Leon starts saying it hurt, Cedric laughs big and obnoxiously like Ed the Hyena from Lion King. Cedric gets loud, in Leon’s face and makes fun of the situation. Cedric’s promos are great in this System version. Kazarian announces the most obvious thing, that Kaz is gonna be in the Ultimate X, hit first in 15 years.

An Inside the Music parody? This screams Dreamer’s dated 90s MTV ideas. Sure, AJ steers into the obvious Suge Knight thing…but this is the dumbest thing I’ve seen in a while, and I’ve watched a lot of moronic crap. 

Ricky Sosa vs Dak Draper

This jobber looks like Tom Selleck without muscles or sex appeal. Even Draper’s offense looks like garbage. Thankfully Sosa Leap Frogs, avoids a Cartwheel weirdo Knee Drop, and Sosa catches him with a Lionsault. Sosa goes for a Brainbuster but panders too long and starts getting kicked and clobbered. Sosa Dropkicks him out of the ring, big Dive wipes out the enhancement guy. Sosa has his stare down with Eric Young on commentary, so we see where this is going.

Draper trips Sosa during a Springboard, Rocket Launchers him into the bottom rope, and too damn much offense for the jobber. This match has no business being competitive and it’s kinda hard to watch. Sosa ducks a few moves but gets caught into a Tilt-a-Whirl Powerslam for a two count. This…is slow, and lame. Sosa slips a move, Pele Kick, Release German, and Diving Uppercuts in the Corner, but Draper gets the boot up, perches and Sosa plucks him off. Springboard Missile Dropkick from Sosa, Blue Thunder Bang, and we’re finally done. That was WAAAY too long.

Elayna Black vs Indi Hartwell

Mara Sade is on commentary, so I’m not mad. The only 3 other women worth anything not already in the main event scene.

Elayna tries to slap Indi, but traps her arms, shoves her into the corners, and then starts going after Elayna. Elayna tries to counter things, Indi holds on, hits a Big Boot for a near fall, and Elyana is still reeling. Indi whips Elayna, but she dodges the follow up, hits her Knee Lift for a near fall. Hip Attack into smashing Indi’s face into the mat and the a low rope Springboard Goomba Stomp. Elayna starts stomping a mudhole in Indi for another near fall, but then starts pulling the hair before a Headlock.

Indi starts trying to power out of the Headlock. Snapmare, but Elayna with an Axe Handle to lay Indi back out. Elayna tries to hit a Forearm into the prone Indi, but she dodges, and Elayna bounces off the ropes, a few Lariats into a Spinebuster for a two count. ASH and the Personal Concierge watch at the top of the ramp, so Indi gets distracted because of dumb babyface reasons, allowing Elayna to hit that Sliding Forearm. Mara gets off commentary and deals with ASH, Indi beats Elayna with a Backslide, and then goes right after ASH.

Mara and Indi clear the ring and stand tall together. So we’ll probably see a Countdown tag match with these four at Slammiversary.

Fabian Aichner gets in the Ultimate X match because Daria gave Mr. Elegance a spot. Nic Nemeth then walks over and asks for KC Navarro to get a spot as well. Santino gives KC the spot. 

Moose & The Broken Hardyz vs Eddie Edwards, Brian Myers & Bear Bronson w/Lish

Moose starts, Eddie feigns starting til he tags out to Myers. Myers points at Matt and says he wants him instead. Myers tries an Arm Wringer, but Matt won’t budge, he Arm Wrings Myers, Arm Breaker, then a Hammerlock and punches into the shoulder before going into the Delete Turnbuckle Bumps. Matt tags in Jeff to a huge pop, classic tandem for a nearfall, until Bear comes in, Tandem Suplex, Poetry in Motion, then Eddie tries to interfere, but Moose cuts him off so Eddie powders instantly. We go to commercial.

During the commercial, you’ll never guess…Lish interfered so the heels are in control! Jeff is getting worked over by Eddie, tags in Bear and Eddie tries to knock Moose of the apron, but he no sells, just bullies Eddie out of the ring and Powerbombs him into the apron! Okay…that looked like Japan.

Bear continues to work over Jeff as Lish is checking on Eddie. Myers, Bear and Lish keep Jeff isolated and the crowd is chanting “Ref you suck”. Myers and Hardy hit the Double Lariat spot, so simultaneous tag…no Myers tags first to Eddie and Eddie tries to stop Jeff, but fails as Moose comes in an kills everyone. Dropkick, Uranage, Senton, Kip-Up, Bear attacks Moose but Moose puts on the brakes, Plancha wipes out Bear, Go to Hell on Eddie! Bear and Myers save Eddie!

Hardyz get wiped out on the apron, locomotion corner spot from the heels. Bear hits the Blackhole Slam, Elbow from Myers and Eddie goes for the pinfall, but Moose kicks out. Knee Party but Moose catches him, Jacknife Powerbomb! Bear Chokebomb on Moose, Side Effect from Matt on Bear, Spear from Myers, Jeff in for a Twist of Hate on Myers. The Righteous are on the stage with an orange ladder, Plot Twist delivered to Myers. Hardyz weren’t super distracted, but distracted enough.

Lish gets in Moose’s face, wants to slap him, he catches the hand, Eddie ALMOST hits Lish, but when Moose aims for the Lights Out, Eddie dodges, Lish hits him with Kendra, and a Boston Knee Party puts it away for the System.

Santana comes out, demands a fight with Nic, and Nic’s music hits. But it’s Ryan! Mokuba is back speaking for his big brother! Santana calls his “big brother” a “big bitch” and the crowd starts chanting “He’s a Bitch”. Nic finally walks out in his Carlos get up, a TNA hat and a blazer. Nic says he’s on borrowed time, and you can call him whatever you want, but at Slamm you’ll call him champion.

Overall Score: 5/10

The in-ring quality was pretty garbage, the opening pull apart was the worst I’ve ever seen, Mr Elegance existing is cringe, the ongoing thread with Santana, KC and Nic was enjoyable at least, and the first real match was decent, but big yikes man. The main event had okay moments, but was honestly just very generic where the Righteous didn’t even really do much in regards to distraction.

TNA are never gonna beat the allegations of being run by morons and almost purposefully throwing together the worst ideas possible. Also who in the blue hell gave a jobber match 10 minutes? Are you trying to tell a bad story of “Ricky is still recovering from being on the shelf”. This isn’t the 80s, we know he was doing Indy dates and just off of TNA television. You had him struggle against a Jabroni, and then you want people to care when the EY and him thing blows up into a match for Slammiversary? Knowing TNA, they’ll put him on the Countdown too, because they’re stupid and refuse to strike while he’s hot and give people something to want to buy the PLE for.

I also guess since loser boy Elegance has filled the Ultimate X, Amazing Red is gonna be the International Championship Challenger? Because you aren’t bringing him in just to talk, that would be a waste and hella stupid. God this company is harder and harder to defend every week.
