Attorney Enters Case for Alleged Victim in Ludwig Kaiser Battery Case

A Notice of Appearance filed June 11 shows attorney Darrin Chambers of NeJame Law in Orlando has been retained to represent the alleged victim in the misdemeanor battery case against Ludwig Kaiser (Marcel Barthel). Chambers, a trial attorney focused on civil litigation and personal injury and a U.S. Navy veteran, may indicate the alleged victim is pursuing financial compensation or considering a civil lawsuit in addition to the criminal matter.

Kaiser faces a charge stemming from an alleged April 24 elevator altercation in his Orlando apartment complex, during which police say the victim was struck, suffering a large scratch and redness to the head; security footage and a subsequent photo lineup identified Kaiser as the attacker. Kaiser has not publicly commented, remains active on the road and recently scored a high-profile win in AAA as El Grande Americano, while a pre-trial conference is set for July 16 to determine whether the case will proceed to trial or be resolved beforehand.
