Big Bill Gives Notice to AEW as Enzo & Cass Reunion Reportedly Set for WWE Return

Fightful reports that Big Bill (formerly Big Cass) has given notice to AEW and is set to depart the company, clearing the way for a WWE reunion with his former tag partner Enzo Amore. WWE is reportedly planning to sign Amore as well, but was waiting for Bill to be contractually free; no announcement has been made about which WWE brand the reunited duo would appear on.

Enzo & Cass were breakout stars of early NXT and later the main roster, though they never captured tag gold together; Big Bill went on to win championships in AEW alongside Ricky Starks. Bill, now more than five years sober after a serious battle with alcoholism, has worked in TNA/Impact and AEW, aligned with Chris Jericho’s Learning Tree, and last wrestled on ROH in April; he remains listed on AEW’s roster for the time being and is married to AEW broadcaster Lexy Nair.
