Callum Newman Puts Yota Tsuji Through a Table at NJPW Dominion Press Conference

At Saturday’s NJPW Dominion press conference in Osaka-jo Hall, IWGP Heavyweight Champion Callum Newman and challenger Yota Tsuji signed the contract for Sunday’s main event — only for Newman to attack immediately and drive Tsuji through a table with an uranage. The ambush came right after the signatures and has intensified the rematch atmosphere ahead of the June 14, 2026 show.

Tsuji, who lost the title at Sakura Genesis on April 4, had spoken Friday about his many memories wrestling at Osaka-jo Hall and his yearly run of big title matches since returning from excursion. Dominion’s stacked card features Newman vs. Tsuji for the IWGP Heavyweight Title as the main event, DOUKI vs. YOH for the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Title, Andrade El Idolo defending the IWGP Global Title in a three-way, plus high-profile matches including Ren Narita vs. Aaron Wolf, Konosuke Takeshita vs. SANADA, and El Phantasmo vs. Jake Lee.
