Chad Gable vs. Rusev Announced for WWE RAW on June 15

Chad Gable is set to make his in-ring return to WWE RAW on June 15, meeting Rusev in what will be his first televised match since being unmasked at AAA Noche de Los Grandes. Gable hasn’t competed under his official ring name in over a year — his last televised match as the unmasked character was against AJ Styles on the June 9, 2025 episode of RAW, though he did appear as “OG El Grande Americano” on RAW and at the 2026 Royal Rumble PLE.

The match stems from a feud that began after Rusev ripped Rey Mysterio’s mask, prompting Gable to intervene and align himself with Lucha traditions; Gable posted on social media this week calling the fan acceptance since dropping the mask “overwhelming” and declaring Monday’s bout “the first stop on a very important path.” The June 15 RAW card also features King and Queen of the Ring semifinals and the advertised return of Roman Reigns.
