Clearwater PD Concludes Investigation into Hulk Hogan’s Death
The Clearwater Police Department has closed its investigation into the July 24, 2025 death of wrestling legend Hulk Hogan (Terry Bollea), who was 71. Authorities have listed the official cause of death as an acute myocardial infarction; Hogan had been diagnosed with chronic lymphocytic leukemia and had begun chemotherapy, and had recently undergone a heart valve procedure and neck fusion surgery.
A 72-page report released Friday classifies the death as an “attended natural death” and states there was no evidence of foul play or criminal wrongdoing after investigators reviewed statements, medical records, surveillance footage and conducted a visual inspection of Bollea’s body. The department confirmed the case is closed and will be considered solved, non-criminal.
