CMLL and NJPW Announce Lucha Kingdom at Arena Mexico for November 16
CMLL revealed a new joint event with New Japan Pro Wrestling, Lucha Kingdom, during Fantastica Mania 2026 in Arena Mexico tonight. The show is scheduled for Monday, November 16 at 5 p.m. in Arena Mexico and was teased while NJPW talent appeared on the CMLL card.
The promotional video framed the event as a union of Mexican and Japanese wrestling — “Two cultures. Two traditions. One shared spirit. … The greatness of Mexico. The spirit of Japan. A single kingdom.” Fantastica Mania has been a CMLL–NJPW collaboration since 2011 and expanded internationally in recent years; CMLL announcers reportedly emphasized Lucha Kingdom as a straight promotion-vs-promotion event.
