Cody Rhodes Inserts Clause Allowing Him to Pick a Legend for Wheatley TV Ad
Cody Rhodes revealed on his What Do You Want To Talk About? podcast with Diamond Dallas Page that he recently negotiated a unique clause in a Wheatley endorsement deal. Rhodes, who also has partnerships with brands like Drumstick, said the contract allows him to select a wrestling legend to appear in a Wheatley television advertisement.
Rhodes called the provision “not anything major or life-changing,” but it underscores his creative input and commitment to honoring wrestling history in his commercial work. The move could pave the way for a high-profile crossover between mainstream advertising and pro wrestling nostalgia.
