Danhausen Appears at Madison Square Garden During NBA Finals

WWE star Danhausen made a surprise appearance at Madison Square Garden for Game 3 of the NBA Finals between the New York Knicks and the San Antonio Spurs, joining an on-air segment on ESPN where he jokingly took partial credit for the Knicks’ win streak, suggested a Knicks guard could transition to WWE, and quipped about former players Jeremy Lin and Iman Shumpert being “close to 10 feet tall.” Danhausen also shared that a Spurs member struck him with a basketball during a pregame interview and posted a smiling GIF afterward; TKO president Mark Shapiro was also spotted at the game.

Danhausen’s NYC outing follows his storyline “curse” and subsequent “uncursing” of the Knicks, after which the team has reportedly won 13 straight games across playoff series and taken a 2-0 lead in the Finals. He has since issued a list of demands to New York City mayor Zohran Mamdani — including a Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade balloon likeness — and has publicly offered to “uncurse” the Carolina Hurricanes, who recently fell behind in the Stanley Cup Final, for what he called “human money.”
