Drew McIntyre Cast in Russell Crowe-Led Film ‘The Last Druid’
WWE star Drew McIntyre has been announced as part of the cast for The Last Druid, directed by William Eubank and starring Russell Crowe alongside his son Tennyson Crowe, Pablo Derqui and Stacy Clausen. The film follows a Druid discovered by a Roman emperor who is forced to protect the people under his reign, with Crowe portraying a Celtic elder guiding him; production is already underway in Spain.
The Last Druid adds to McIntyre’s growing screen résumé after his role in Amazon MGM’s Highlander reboot, reflecting his continued interest in acting while remaining an active performer. McIntyre’s recent in-ring activity saw him fall to Jacob Fatu in an unsanctioned WrestleMania match, a loss after which Fatu moved to target Roman Reigns’ World Heavyweight Championship.
