Drilla Moloney & Man Like DeReiss Capture PROGRESS Tag Team Titles at WonderBrawl II
At PROGRESS Wrestling’s WonderBrawl II in Manchester, The 0121 — Man Like DeReiss and NJPW ring name Drilla Moloney — defeated The Young Guns (Luke Jacobs & Ethan Allen) to win the PROGRESS Tag Team Championships. Moloney is now a two-time PROGRESS Tag Team Champion after previously winning the belts with DeReiss at Chapter 131: 10th Anniversary in March 2022; the show was the promotion’s first since being purchased by Nikki Cross and Big Damo.
The card also featured PROGRESS ATLAS Title action as defending champion Gene Munny retained against Pro Wrestling NOAH excursion star Kouga, who has been working across Europe for promotions including GWF, British Kingdom Pro-Wrestling, ICHIBAN and Attack Pro Wrestling. The undercard rounded out the night with several singles and tag matches as PROGRESS looks to build momentum under its new ownership.
