Dustin Rhodes Would Prefer Not to Wrestle Brother Cody Again
Despite the acclaim surrounding their emotional encounter at AEW Double or Nothing 2019, Dustin Rhodes says he would rather not step back into the ring with his brother Cody. The bout is widely remembered for its storytelling and personal stakes, but Dustin has made it clear he wants to preserve that moment rather than reopen the chapter.
Rhodes indicated his decision stems from family considerations and the desire to keep their relationship intact outside of a wrestling ring, leaving the match as a singular, meaningful memory. While both men continue to be prominent figures in AEW, Dustin’s stance suggests the brothers will likely avoid repeating that high-profile sibling clash.
