Eric Bischoff: Road Dogg Was “Out of Place” in WWE Creative, Could Help AEW or TNA
Veteran wrestling executive Eric Bischoff says Road Dogg’s recent role in WWE creative didn’t fit his strengths, describing the former DX star as “out of place” during that stint. Bischoff suggested that while the pairing with WWE wasn’t ideal, Road Dogg’s experience and personality could be a valuable asset elsewhere in the industry.
Bischoff named AEW and TNA (Impact Wrestling) as potential homes where Road Dogg’s skills might translate better, arguing those promotions could benefit from his backstage and on-screen expertise. Given Road Dogg’s history and fan recognition, Bischoff believes a move to either company could revitalize his creative contributions and connect more naturally with their audiences.
