Ex-WWE Board Member Alleges Nick Khan Tipped Off Wall Street Journal About Janel Grant
Depositions from the recently settled WWE shareholder lawsuit reveal an ex-board member testified they believe WWE President and Chief Revenue Officer Nick Khan alerted The Wall Street Journal about reporting related to Janel Grant. The allegation emerged during discovery and focuses on internal communications and the media’s coverage of Grant.
The claim surfaced amid the broader litigation, which has since been resolved, and the deposition excerpts do not provide conclusive proof of a direct handoff of documents or messages. Nevertheless, the testimony raises new questions about the flow of sensitive information between WWE leadership and outside news outlets during the period in question.
