GCW Sets Joey Janela 20th Anniversary “20 Years of Bad Boy” Show in Asbury Park
Game Changer Wrestling will celebrate Joey Janela’s 20th anniversary with a “20 Years of Bad Boy” event at HOI Asbury Park on Thursday, August 6, with the show set to air live on TrillerTV+. Janela, who debuted on the New Jersey indie scene in 2006 and later appeared on AEW television, teased “greatest rivals, new dream matches, my new favorites, class legends” and warned that tickets go on sale Friday and “will SELL OUT.”
Janela has been a frequent GCW collaborator since 2017, helping build the promotion’s Spring Break installments into major indie attractions; Spring Break 2026 was headlined by Janela losing to Brodie Lee Jr. in what was reported as the 14-year-old’s official singles debut. No matches have been announced for the August anniversary show, and Uncrowned Films recently produced a mini-documentary on Spring Break 2026 that featured the Janela–Lee meeting.
