Goldberg: He and Triple H “couldn’t stand each other” — but now they’re on good terms
Goldberg told Going Ringside that during his initial WWE run in 2003 he and Triple H “couldn’t stand each other,” blaming shared representation and a prior confrontation, and saying Triple H’s marriage into the McMahon family made the situation feel “unwinnable.” He added that time and business smoothed things over and that “at the end of the day, he’s a good guy.”
The Hall of Famer also praised Brock Lesnar as the greatest opponent he ever faced, calling their matches the dynamic of “two absolute monsters” and saying he was excited because Lesnar “was a guy that could take it if I hit him.”
