Je’Von Evans credits Roman Reigns, Cody Rhodes, John Cena and Shawn Michaels among his WWE mentors

Je’Von Evans says several top veterans have been guiding him during his early main roster run, naming Roman Reigns, Cody Rhodes, John Cena and NXT head Shawn Michaels among those who offer advice. Evans told Denise Salcedo he routinely asks experienced performers for feedback and listed others — Seth Rollins, Becky Lynch, CM Punk and Randy Orton — as key figures who look out for him; Orton has specifically advised Evans to protect his body and avoid doing every spectacular move night after night.

The 22-year-old, still chasing his first WWE gold after losing to Intercontinental Champion Penta on Raw, called that match one of his favorites since joining the main roster and cited a November 2025 bout with Gunther as a highlight. Evans did not wrestle at Clash in Italy but was announced as one of 16 entrants in the 2026 King of the Ring; he’ll be in a first-round four-way with Seth Rollins, Talla Tonga and Ricky Saints as WWE’s King & Queen tournaments build toward Night of Champions on June 27, with winners earning World title shots at SummerSlam.
