Jim Ross Hospitalized for More Than Three Weeks, Posts Update From Norman Hospital
Jim Ross, 74, revealed on Saturday that he has been hospitalized for more than three weeks, posting to X that he was watching the Oklahoma Sooners baseball team from a hospital in Norman, Oklahoma. In the message he wrote, “Day 22 in the hospital in Norman. Watching @CWSOmaha with my @soonerbaseball. Thanks for everyone’s kind thoughts and prayers. Don’t count me out just yet. I’m still fighting!”
The update follows a report last month that Ross suffered a fall prior to AEW Double or Nothing 2026, where he served on commentary for Jon Moxley’s Continental Championship defense against Kyle O’Reilly. Ross also said he is being evaluated for dementia/Alzheimer’s and is undergoing tests, telling listeners on his Grilling JR podcast, “We’ll see how it works out…I don’t feel bad at all. I feel great, actually…Getting old is a bitch.”
