Joe Doering Entering Hospice Care Amid Third Battle with Brain Cancer
TNA star Joe Doering, 44, is reportedly entering hospice care, his sister-in-law Mandy Banh confirmed on his GoFundMe page, saying the wrestler is facing a third bout of brain cancer and welcoming local visitors by message. Banh asked fans for thoughts and prayers as Doering transitions to hospice after a decade-long struggle with the disease.
Doering was first diagnosed with a brain tumor in 2016, with a recurrence in 2022 that led to further surgery and resulting ataxia affecting his mobility; a GoFundMe launched last November revealed a third tumor and detailed his ongoing reliance on a wheelchair and physiotherapy. Best known for two reigns as All Japan Pro Wrestling Triple Crown Champion, Doering briefly worked a WWE developmental deal in 2010 and returned to TNA in 2020 as part of Violent by Design, with family noting he has remained determined and private throughout his battles.
