Killer Kross Says AEW Door “Always Open” After WWE Exit
Killer Kross told The Ariel Helwani Show that he remains a free agent and wouldn’t rule out an eventual AEW run, saying he has “a tremendous amount of respect for Tony” Khan and that the door has “always been open.” Now competing on the indies and holding the MLW World Heavyweight Championship, Kross said he prefers to keep discussions private but is open to opportunities that align with his schedule and praised AEW World Champion MJF as someone he’d love to work with.
When asked about talks with TNA, Kross was similarly noncommittal, noting he’s been available for conversations with “anybody and everybody” and that his phone is always on. Kross and his wife Scarlett left WWE in August 2025 under unusual circumstances after failing to reach new contract terms, and he stressed he’s serious about commitments and won’t flake on bookings while remaining open to the right situation.
