LA Knight Says Brock Lesnar’s Royal Rumble Exit “Went Differently Than They Were Supposed To”
LA Knight told Chris Van Vliet on the Insight Podcast that Brock Lesnar’s elimination from the WWE Royal Rumble “went differently than they were supposed to,” adding he’ll share the full story someday but it still feels too new. Knight and Cody Rhodes were the pair who sent Lesnar over the top rope in January, though broadcast footage appeared to show Lesnar signaling for the attack before being tossed out.
Lesnar’s exit paved the way for Roman Reigns to win the match and set up his challenge to CM Punk for the World Heavyweight Title at WrestleMania, where Knight instead competed in a six-man tag against The Vision. Knight’s recent comments and past crowd support for him as a Money in the Bank candidate have fueled speculation he’ll have a renewed singles push in the coming months.
