Mick Foley Open to One Last AEW Match: “All the Stars Would Have to Align”

Mick Foley, who recently signed with AEW and debuted on commentary at Double or Nothing, says he’s open to the idea of one final in-ring outing if the circumstances are right. The 60-year-old called himself a “Swiss army knife” for the company and noted his significant health improvements — including a 100-pound weight loss and hip and knee replacements — but stressed any match would need to avoid head trauma and make sense creatively.

Foley said cinematic-style matches and careful planning could allow him to perform without risking his long-term mobility, though he stopped plans for a 2025 comeback after a 2024 training concussion. AEW angles have already teased a potential confrontation with MJF, and Tony Khan has expressed interest in hosting Foley’s final match should he be medically cleared down the road.
