Mistico Set to Return, Headlines CMLL Arena México Card on June 5

Mistico is officially slated to return to the ring this Friday, June 5, headlining CMLL’s Arena México show in a trios match with Mascara Dorada and Neon against Zandokan Jr., Difunto and Furia Roja. The comeback was confirmed after a knee injury suffered on May 17 kept him sidelined; Mistico appeared on CMLL’s Informa with his knee in a brace and said he’s been doing physical therapy twice daily to be ready for the card.

Under a dual contract with CMLL and AEW and currently one half of NJPW’s IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champions with El Desperado, Mistico has pending dates for both partner promotions. The June 5 lineup also features AEW talents Komander (vs. Soberano Jr.) and ROH Tag Team Champions Sammy Guevara and The Beast Mortos teaming with Black Tiger against Barbaro Cavernaro, Villano III Jr. and El Hijo del Villano III, among other trios matches on the full card.
