Backstage interview with MJF and The Don Callis Family.

Lexy Nair is with The Scumbag AEW World Champion, but also Kevin Knight, Kyle Fletcher, Kazuchika Okada, Andrade El Idolo, Jake Doyle, Brian Cage, CLØN, Lance Archer, Rocky Romero, Trent Beretta, and of course, the man himself, Don Callis. Lexy says we are just moments away from MJF declaring his teammates for not just tonight’s main event, but for the Forbidden Door 6v6 Steel Cage Match. MJF says we’ll get to that, but first, zoom in on this. The camera zooms to the title, and MJF says this is the only title that matters. Now zoom up. The camera looks up at MJF and he says this right here is THE BEST pro-wrestler in the world today.

Now, there is a long line of men who keep calling him and his title out. With that, MJF goes to Kevin Knight. MJF tells Kevin that he doesn’t like him, but he does respect him, because Kevin reminds him a whole lot of himself. He is not afraid to stab people in the back to get ahead, and MJF finds that quite admirable. So of all the young, top prospects in this company, Kevin is clearly the most talented. MJF made sure to look at Kyle when he said that about Kevin. MJF then goes to Andrade. Just kidding! Swerve Strickland! Power, power, power. Does Swerve have Tourette’s? Is that the only word he knows anymore? Does he wanna muster up?

But MJF says the power lies right here with him, so Swerve should win The Owen and try and take it. If Swerve can’t pull that off, then he should do himself a favor and swerve off a bridge. But keep Nana out of it, he’s kinda MJF’s… “Coffee plug.” And Will Ospreay, this ain’t 2024 no more, you ain’t the best anymore, MJF is. And MJF prays to God that Ospreay makes it to Wembley so MJF can break Ospreay’s neck in front of the world and everyone who seems to think that Ospreay winning this title is written in the stars. Then Adam Pa- Oh, right, he can’t challenge for it. Kenny Omega! You gotta hop off of “Big Hebrew’s kosher pickle,” get his name out your mouth.

Hey Don, how many times has MJF wrestled Kenny? Don says two times. Then how many times has MJF beaten Kenny? Two times. Those odds ain’t looking good for Kenny. And Kenny ain’t no wrestling god to MJF, he’s just a mortal who will never get redemption. And then there’s Mark Briscoe. Does anyone know the difference between Mark Briscoe and everyone else MJF just named? It’s that everyone else is a top act, a star! Briscoe is not. The fans love Briscoe but because they feel bad for him over his brother dying. And yeah, that’s horrible. But that’s not why MJF feels bad for Briscoe.

MJF feels bad for Briscoe because Briscoe is delusional enough to think he has a prayer at obtaining the Triple B! None of those prayers will be answered, but all of MJF’s will. Because MJF has concocted the most dangerous team that has ever existed! Don Callis, tell the world who is on Team #DCMJF! Callis says they’re gonna bring the P-P-POWER right now! This is an All Star Team, starting out with none other than the newest member of the Callis Family, The Jet, Kevin Knight! And no all star team of this family would be complete without the alpha, the top dog, Kyle BAH GAWD Fletcher! And then, they bring some meat to the table with JAKE DOYLE!

And what team would be perfect without the greatest, Kazuchika Okada! Arigato gozaimasu! And finally, the sixth man on this team, Callis is so excited. Trent steps up thinking it’s him, but Callis says it is none other than… ANDRADE! Trent is disappointed and Andrade is stunned. Callis says they’ve done it! MJF and Callis shake hands, but Andrade says MJF really thinks he’d join forces with him? One question: How You Know? MJF tells Don to handle this. MJF heads out and Callis says Andrade, this is for mucho dinero! You are a future world champion, just be patient, wait in line. There are a lot of names in this group!

Speaking of the group, everyone else files out, though we see #JustTrent stays behind. Callis continues to tell Andrade to be patient, and more importantly, do the match. Callis leaves, Trent slowly takes his leave, and Andrade is still dumbfounded. But will Andrade complicate things between tonight and Forbidden Door Sunday? Or will he fall in line and wait his turn?

Tony Nese w/ The Premier Athletes VS ???

It would seem The Premier Athletes stormed out here during MJF’s long winded way of calling out his many challengers, and they demand a match! So who is Nese getting? It’s KENNY OMEGA! The fans fire up for this treat, but will the Best Bout Machine use Nese as the next step up the mountain?

The bell rings, the fans cheer, and the two circle. But then Nese says hold on, he knows what fans want. Nese flexes to show off the peaks, but the fans boo. Kenny and Nese circle, but then Sterling swipes at him! Kenny kicks at Sterling, but then Nese table top chop blocks Kenny down! The fans boo but Nese goes back up, PREMIER SAULT FLOPS as Kenny dodges! The fans fire up as Kenny then SNAP DRAGON SUPLEXES! The fans fire up again as Kenny brings Nese around, for another SNAP DRAGON SUPLEX! Nese flounders but Kenny says BANG! Kenny runs, and V-TRIGGER! Nese sputters, Sterling gets on the apron, but Kenny V-TRIGGERS him down onto Daivari!

Nese staggers, the fans fire up, and Kenny is feeling it! Electric Chair, ONE WINGED ANGEL! Cover, Omega wins!

Winner: Kenny Omega, by pinfall

Be careful what you wish for, you just might get it! But now that he’s put in the work, Kenny wishes to speak. A mic is handed over, but wait! TMDK is here, and Zack Sabre Jr. is front and center! The fans cheer, Kenny is on his guard, but ZSJ assures him this isn’t like that. Kenny still bails out as TMDK steps in, so Kenny lets ZSJ have the mic. The Young Bucks & Jack Perry hurry out here, too! The fans cheer for “THE! ELITE! THE THE ELITE!” ZSJ kicks the mic back to Kenny, and Kenny picks up the mic. Kenny says for those who don’t know any better, here we have TMDK. Don’t ask him what it stands for, he doesn’t know, and neither do they.

But Zack, thank you. Kenny didn’t think ZSJ would come all this way just to challenge lil’ ol’ Kenny, yet here he is. So that ZSJ gets the message loud and clear, yes, ZSJ has what Kenny wants, and Kenny has what ZSJ wants. And at Forbidden Door, yes, it will be just ZSJ and Kenny, the greatest technical wrestler still going, and wouldn’t it look good on his resume to have a big fat W over Kenny Omega? But in the same token, it’d look so good for Kenny to beat ZSJ, not just for this place, but yeah, for his home-away-from-home, NJPW, as well. So it looks like ZSJ has his friends, and turns out Kenny has his.

So Zacky Boy, let’s keep it 1v1 at the PPV. Until then, let’s bid you adieu. Say it with him, because the fans probably don’t know TMDK’s catchphrase, goodbye MWAH, and goodnight BANG! Kenny isn’t sweating The Front Man, but will ZSJ prove to him that The Mighty Don’t Kneel?

Jon Moxley & Daniel Garcia w/ Marina Shafir VS #BRODIDO!

Even after winning that wild Cincinnati Street Fight, The Maniac & Dragonslayer want to keep the momentum going. They put out the challenge, and it was answered by none other than the former AEW World Tag Team Champions! Will the Death Riders regret taking on The Most Wanted & The King of Death? Or will they still have the hot hand?

The teams sort out and Garcia steps to the ROH World Champion. Garcia talks trash, pie faces Bandido, then pie faces him again. The fans rally up behind Bandido, and he winds up for them all to say… “CULERO~!” Garcia and Bandido tie up, go around, and Garcia waistlocks to SLAM! Garcia ducks Bandido’s shot to CHOP him! But then uno, dos, tres, DOUBLE CHOPS! Down goes Garcia and the fans cheer!

Garcia flounders away, Moxley reaches out, and Garcia tags in. The fans fire up as now Brody and Moxley meet. Moxley and Brody circle, go forehead to forehead, then they go forearm for forearm! The fans cheer both men as the shots keep going, and then Moxley winds up to CHOP! Brody CHOPS! Moxley takes a moment, then nods. He fires a forearm and CHOP on repeat! Moxley snarls but so does Brody. Brody ROCKS and CHOPS Moxley on repeat! The fans fire up as Brody CHOPS again and Moxley staggers around. The fans bark for Brody, he eggs Moxley on, so Moxley comes back, to poke Brody in the eye!

The fans boo but Moxley CLUBS and KNEES away on Brody. Then he BITES Brody’s nose! Moxley runs, CROSSBODIES, but he bounces off Brody! Garcia runs up, but into a HIP TOSS! Brody tags Bandido and Bandido high-tens for the knuckle lock and lift! ARIHARA MOONSAULT onto Moxley & Garcia! The fans are all fired up as Dynamite goes picture in picture!

Bandido high-fives fans, even hugs a few, then goes back to the corner. Bandido refreshes the count before he fetches Moxley into the ring. Cover, TWO! Bandido hurries after Moxley in the corner but Moxley turns things around for fast hands! The ref counts but Moxley climbs up to rain down fists! Moxley goes all the way to TEN, then backs off so that Garcia can CHOKE AND BITE Bandido! Moxley brings Bandido around, tags Garcia in, and they mug Bandido. Garcia CHOKES Bandido, scrapes his boot in Bandido’s mask. The ref counts, Garcia backs off, and Bandido sputters on the mat. Garcia kicks Bandido around, the ref is busy with Brody, and Marina CLAWS at Bandido’s face!

Garcia bumps Bandido off buckles, tags Moxley, and Moxley stands Bandido up. Moxley puts Bandido in the open corner again to fire more fast hands. Moxley then runs corner to corner, but Bandido dodges! Moxley POSTS himself, hot tag to Brody! Brody runs up on Moxley to GERMAN SUPLEX! Moxley staggers to his feet, and Brody CHOPS him on the back! Brody ROCKS and CHOPS Moxley again, and on repeat! Brody even returns the favor as he BITES Moxley’s nose! The ref reprimands but Brody stops, and Dynamite returns to single picture. Brody then rains down fists, and the fans count along. Garcia storms up, Brody winds up at nine, to hit Garcia with TEN!

The fans fire up for Brody and he HEADBUTTS Moxley on the way down! Moxley flounders, Brody paces around him, and Brody ROCKS Moxley! Moxley falls back, crawls to ropes, but staggers to his feet. Then he makes Bandido sit on the barriers so Garcia can fire off! Brody ELBOWS Bandido down into the crowd!

The fans are torn, but the medics are checking on Brody. Marina mocks the chant of “SI SE PUEDES!” and says they can’t puede nothing! Moxley & Garcia get Brody back in the ring, push him to a cover, TWO!! Brody still lives but Moxley paces. Moxley drags Brody up while the fans rally up, but Garcia tags in. Winners: #BRODIDO, by pinfall

The Death Riders put out the challenge, and they lost! The Outlaw and the King of Death stand tall, will this duo find their way back to the tag titles in the future?

Kyle Fletcher & Kazuchika Okada speak.

The Protostar says, “So now we know. Both myself and Okada will be competing in the main event 12 man tag match tonight, and also in the Steel Cage match at Forbidden Door. But don’t think we’ve forgotten. We will still be bringing the International title back to the Don Callis Family.” The Rainmaker says, “Yes, we will.” Kyle says one thing they don’t know is, who will be standing across the ring from them? Well, they know who won’t be. Oh no, Tomohiro Ishii is down at their feet! Kyle says he’s no doctor, but he doesn’t think Ishii will be able to compete tonight, or at Forbidden Door. Then he gives Ishii a kick to the head!

Okada tells Ishii in Japanese that this is what he gets, the jerk! Kyle says good luck in finding another partner, Mark! See you in the main event. #Protokada high-fives and heads out, having busted up the Stone Pitbull. Does Mark have a list of back-up names he can go to?

Tommaso Ciampa speaks.

“Chris, you wanna know why I hate you? Well, I don’t need to give you 1,004 reasons why, when I could give you just one. But before I do that, you wanna know the truth? I didn’t always hate Chris Jericho. Matter of fact, I used to respect Jericho. I’m talking about the world-traveled Lionheart. The guy who broke the walls down, the nine-time world champion, the guy who took over NJPW, who became the first-ever AEW World Champion. That guy, the innovator? Yeah, that guy was the best. But 2026 Chris Jericho? The guy I shared a ring with last week, the jokes, the puns, the too-cool-for-school attitude… The desperation. I hate it. I hate every last bit of it.

“So Chris, do me a favor, if you’re gonna bring that guy around, you might as well stay home. Or at the very least, stay the hell outta my world. But if you do still think you have it in you, if you think I’m worthy, by all means, Chris, let’s dance. The ball’s in your court, don’t drop it.” The Psycho Killer has put out the challenge, but which form of Jericho will he get?

The Dogs are here!

David Finlay & Clark Connors storm into gorilla position, and they demand their matches. They’re handed over, but just as 100 Proof goes to burn the ring crew member, SURPRISE! It’s Adam Copeland! Uh oh. And then surprise! Christian Cage is there, too! Cope & Cage beat up on The Dogs all the way to the stage, and the fans fire up! Cage HAMMERS away on Connors while Cope TOSSES Finlay into the ring! Cope keeps after Finlay, then LARIATS him up and out, right as Cage TOSSES Connors in! Cage fires off hands on Connors, then POSTS him! Cage and Cope then wait on Connors, take aim, and Connors turns around, only for Finlay to get him outta there!

The fans boo as The Savage King saves Connors from taking a double spear! They run away like scalded dogs, and Cage gets a mic to say, “Hey! After what transpired a couple weeks ago, after we won the AEW World Tag Team Championships… I think most people are expecting me to come out here and say something unsavory about a family member. But just to put your minds at ease, even Christian Cage has standards. And what I mean by that is, I’ve never come across another tag that’s actually named after their mothers! And Finlay, if you’re supposed to be some sort of gift to the wrestling business from your father…

“I think I speak for everyone when I say he should’ve done us all a favor and let you run down the inside of his leg!” Well so much for nothing unsavory… But Cope tells The Dogs, they’ve been on a winning streak. They beat The Gunns, they beat The Bucks! That’s impressive! And Cope understands why they’d jump C&C, doing the Five Second Pose. They’re just Cope & Cage from 30 years ago. So C&C understand The Dogs trying to make their name off of C&C, off their reputation. But what they don’t understand is that C&C are the learning curve. Yeah, 30 years ago, they thought they had it figured out, too.

But then they came up against the New Age Outlaws. Then they came up against the APA. They realized they didn’t have it all figured out, but then they learned, picked up intangibles in facing those guys. So Dogs, it’s pretty simple. Forbidden Door, C&C will use some of their “old man strength,” use some of this old man knowledge, and use a whole lot of old man grumpiness to make sure that in San Jose, when The Dogs walk through the Forbidden door into C&C’s house, they’ll walk out back through that door as housebroken little pups. The fans cheer as the match has been made! Will things get Rated R in San Jose?

AEW hears from Starlight Kid!

“AEW’s Thekla! You spit on the Stardom logo. I will not forgive you for disrespecting Stardom! Thekla, I am not going to let you run wild. I will come back to Japan with that championship! Everyone, please support me from Japan!”

Thekla responds.

“Let’s put all the hate away for just one second. I did all that same dojo rough life that you did, just the same thing. And yet somehow, all your sacrifices made you a big hero in Japan. But what did that do for me? It didn’t do anything for me. I got kicked outta the company, I got kicked outta Japan, and I had to do everything myself. And now, for some reason, you step into my footsteps? Tony Khan said that you’re his favorite wrestler outside of AEW. I don’t need to be anybody’s favorite wrestler, because all I care about is this (AEW Women’s World Championship)!

“You can’t forgive me because I spat on the Stardom logo? Well guess what? There’s gonna be so many more things that you can’t forgive me for when I beat you in MY ring, and I take off your mask and put a hot steaming TUAH in it! So why don’t you stay the great wrestler you are on that side of the door? Because on this side of the door, I run this place, baby!” The Toxic Spider is more than ready for the Genius Girl Masked Idol, but will she still end up losing the gold? Or will she finally beat the one woman she couldn’t stop in Stardom?

Backstage interview with #BRODIDO.

Lexy Nair congratulates them on their victorious reunion over the Death Riders. It must feel good to be back, what is going through their minds? Bandido is fired up that they won! They won! They’re finally together again! They beat the Death Riders, hermano! Brody says okay, yeah, tranquilo. What? You thought just cuz they were on singles side quests that they weren’t still one of the best tag teams in the world?! Well, they just proved it to all of Houston! Bandido says yeah, and he saw gold on Jon Moxley’s shoulder. That Continental Championship. Bandido says Forbidden Door is coming, so Moxley…!

But before Bandido can say more, Moxley & Garcia step in. Moxley says tranquilo, tranquilo. But if Bandido wants his shot at the Continental Championship… Well, then that means no Brody, no Death Riders. Mano y mano. Bandido says si. Then shoot your shot, compadre. The Death Riders head back out, and Brody secret handshakes and finger guns with Bandido. Is the ROH World Champion about to become a Two Belt Outlaw? Or will The Maniac prove he’s not to be trifled with 1v1?

Hazuki drags Mone around, steps on her, then runs to SENTON FLOP as Mone moves! Mone then runs to METEORA! Cover, TWO! Hazuki is tougher than that, but Mone rains down forearms! Mone puts Hazuki in place so she can run and METEORA! Cover, TWO! Hazuki survives again and Mone is starting to question what it’ll take.

Hazuki fires body shots, but Mone kicks  her down. Mone drags Hazuki up, whips her to ropes, but Hazuki goes outside! Then Hazuki avoids Mone to APRON DDT! Mone dangles again, then flops to the floor! The fans fire up as Hazuki builds speed, and she DIVES! Down goes Mone and the fans fire up! Hazuki hurries back into the ring, builds speed again, and DIVES! Another direct hit on Mone and the fans fire up! Hazuki isn’t done, she keeps moving for another DIVE! The biggest hit yet and the fans fire up again! Hazuki’s hattrick has the fans cheering her on, and she drags Mone back up. Hazuki puts Mone in the ring and goes up the corner.

“This is Awesome!” as Hazuki aims, MISSILE DROPKICK! Cover, TWO! But into the CROSSFACE! Hazuki makes Mone endure a form of her own favorite hold! Mone fights, rolls, and covers, TWO! Hazuki pulls on the crossface! Mone keeps fighting, fights around, and rolls again, into the ROPEBREAK! Hazuki lets go and she brings Mone up. Hazuki reels Mone in, suplexes, but Mone fights to suplex in return! And that’s just Una Amiga! Mone snap suplexes again, Dos Amigas! The fans cheer “EDDIE! EDDIE!” as Mone rises again, but Hazuki fights the third! Hazuki tries to suplex but Mone fights that! Mone TOSSES Hauzki out, then HOTSHOTS the arm!

The fans rally and duel while Hazuki writhes. Mone goes up the ropes, takes aim, and METEORAS on the ramp! A little double-edged as Mone clutches her knee, but she still grins as she has the advantage, and Dynamite goes picture in picture.

The ref checks and Hazuki is able to continue. Mone drags Hazuki up, puts her in the ring, and goes up a corner. Mone leaps, METEORA! Cover, TWO! Hazuki survives and Mone is shocked! Mone drags Hazuki up, puts her in a corner, then digs her boot in. The ref counts, Mone stomps away on Hazuki, then digs her boots in again. The ref backs Mone off, but Mone jukes to METEORA! Cover, TWO! Hazuki survives again so Mone clamps on a straitjacket stretch! Hazuki endures as Mone pulls on the arms, and Hazuki fights up. Mone hits a BACKSTABBER! Mone digs her knees into Hazuki’s back, but Hazuki still endures.

Hazuki fights up, RAMS Mone into buckles, then RAMS her again! Mone THROWS Hazuki into the buckles, soaks up the cheers and jeers, then goes back to Hazuki. Mone sits Hazuki up, talks some trash, then scrapes her with her boot. Mone scrubs Hazuki again and again and again, and Dynamite returns to single picture. Mone runs corner to corner and back again, but Hazuki dodges the Meteora! Then she fires off forearms! The fans fire up with Hazuki as she HAMMERS away in the corner! The ref counts, backs Hazuki off at 4, but Hazuki stays fired up! Hazuki waits on Mone to rise up, then she runs in, but into a BOOT!

Mone eggs Hazuki on, and Hazuki ROCKS her! Hazuki eggs Mone on, so Mone ROCKS Hazuki!

Winner: Mercedes Mone, by submission (advances to the finals)

Hazuki gave Mercedes the fight of her life, but The CEO will be walking through that Forbidden Door. But will Mone make it a back-to-back in the Owen Hart Cup? Or will someone else derail the Money Train?

Tony Schiavone is in the ring.

He tells the fans, “One week from Sunday, two men will collide in the Owen Hart Foundation Men’s Championship to see who will go on to Wembley Stadium at All In to get a world title shot. And tonight’s face to face, let’s introduce first of all, the Aerial Assassin, Will Ospreay!” The fans cheer as indeed, Ospreay makes his entrance. Schiavone congratulates Ospreay also on his marriage to Alex Windsor over the weekend! And yet here he is on Wednesday for Dynamite! Ospreay says the wedding was lovely, he thanks everyone for their messages, and he does know that he is meant to be on the honeymoon, but the wife said she knows how much this means to him.

She said stay focused, they can go to Hawaii whenever they want, he needs to chase his dream. The fans cheer that! Ospreay says yeah, he’s got a good wife, huh? So here’s what he did to treat her. Took her upstairs, smashed the life outta her, bruv, and said babe, clean yourself up while he goes to Houston! The fans cheer that and Ospreay is all smiles. Schiavone then welcomes out Ospreay’s future opponent, Swerve Strickland! The fans cheer again as The Realest, Prince Nana by his side, walks out to the ring. Swerve steps inside and Nana snatches the mic from Schiavone. Nana tells Schiavone that this suit is way too tight on him.

Nana says Schiavone can leave, he’s got it from here. Move! Loosen it up. Nana hands the mic over to “Boss” Swerve, and Swerve tells Ospreay, “What’s up, Will? It’s been awhile, right? Been almost a year, no text, no phone calls, nothing. Swerve’s been keeping his eye on Ospreay, though, and he has to say, he doesn’t like what he’s been seeing. Truth be told, Ospreay’s changed. Ospreay has a mic and he says, “Oh, I’ve changed? I’ve changed? I don’t feel like nothing’s changed about me. I still dress the same. Me hair’s a little bit better now, I’ve got it a little bit more under control. Something’s change about you, though.

“And it’s not your wardrobe, it’s not Nana. How are you, mate? Lovely seeing you again. It’s… That’s what it is! I know what’s changed! It’s the way that you’re looking at me right now. So I was wonderin’, have we got a problem? Do we need to have a chat about something?” Swerve says he’ll be the one to address the elephant in the room. Yes, they do have a problem. So, everything that they did, what they fought for, all of 2025, to fight off The Death Riders and everything Moxley, and yet here Ospreay is, palling around with him, playing booty boot camp in every arena they go to, like Ospreay’s having fun! The fans chant “BOOTY BOOT CAMP!”

The funny thing is, Swerve can’t understand why Ospreay gave no explanation. Swerve doesn’t know, his friends don’t know, his wife doesn’t even know. Congrats, by the way. But like Swerve said, Ospreay’s changed. Ospreay smirks and says Swerve wants to bring up Moxley and what happened. Yeah, Ospreay didn’t forget what they did to him, and he hasn’t forgiven ’em. But he just had to let it go. That was one of the hardest things he had to do, and he accepted help. They’re his training partners now. And to be honest, that training is working. His neck feels great, his ground game is improving, but since he’s talking that night in London where they snapped his neck…

Ospreay has a question for Swerve. That night in London, Ospreay saw Kenny Omega trying to get in the cage. He saw The Opps trying to get in the cage. He saw Darby Allin trying to get in the cage. The geezer could climb Everest but he couldn’t figure out the cage. But y’know who we didn’t see out there who was backstage? “Who? Who? Who?” Swerve! That’s how! Where was he? Oh, right, Ospreay can’t get mad, Swerve got beat up, attacked, needed knee surgery himself. Ospreay couldn’t be that mad. Ospreay was recovering at home, could barely pick anything up, and started to thinking where this all started. AEW’s All In: Texas.

Ospreay says he and Swerve teamed up, they took down The Young Bucks for abusing their power, and Ospreay had Swerve’s back while Swerve had Ospreay’s back. But he asked for one thing that day: They needed to get the belt back. Hangman needed help. Y’know what Swerve said? Nothing. So Ospreay went down to help Hangman, by himself. At the end of the night, he ended up in a hospital. He didn’t see anything else from that match. And then he rewatched the footage, and he doesn’t see Swerve coming out to help. So Ospreay had to question this. Maybe he’s an island, but if he says Swerve is his brother, he loves him no matter what…

Ospreay expects Swerve to run through a brick wall to come save him, same as he would for Swerve! The fans cheer that, and Ospreay asks Swerve: Where were you and why didn’t you help Ospreay? But then Ospreay SLAPS the mic out of Swerve’s hand, because on second thought, he doesn’t need to hear it. Because this, because Forbidden Door, is bigger than any explanation Ospreay would get. He does get it, this is Swerve’s redemption. But this is Ospreay’s dream, bruv! Ospreay used to work on building sites right outside Wembley, and he’d watch the futbol fans go in, the passion they had for their team.

Every time Ospreay went to school, the teacher up and down the country would ask, “What do you want to be when you grow up?” Everyone else would say, “I want to kick the winning goal at Wembley Stadium.” Bruv, Ospreay is one match away from kicking the goal! He knows this is the Owen Cup Finals, but this is like the semifinals for Ospreay’s World Cup! And Ospreay knows Swerve might see him as a brother, a friend, but Ospreay doesn’t care, Swerve is in the way of his dream, in the way of his country’s dream. And Ospreay knows Swerve ain’t gonna hesitate to end Ospreay’s dream. So Ospreay will tell Swerve, he won’t hesitate to end Swerve.

Swerve says, “Not if I do it first.” Swerve takes Ospreay’s mic now, and he says last year, he had to stand here and listen to Ospreay tell Swerve that it wasn’t his time, or Osperay’s time, but it was Hangman Page’s time. And Swerve agreed. He sat back and fought alongside Ospreay to stop the Death Riders and put AEW back where it should be. They got the AEW World Championship off Moxley and onto Hangman, and Swerve did that. Guess what? Where’s Hangman now? No, no, seriously! Where is he? Ospreay can’t get in touch with him, Swerve can’t, hell, Hangman can’t even fight for the world title, he doesn’t have the title anymore!

Everything they did off Ospreay’s word was for NOTHING! And now, Ospreay expects Swerve to just move out of the way, step aside for Ospreay to have a nice path to the main event of Wembley, well SCREW THAT! Or whatever more Swerve said because TBS had to censor it… Ospreay smiles and says if that’s how Swerve feels… Swerve says he is done stepping aside for others to get the opportunities that he deserves. When Swerve was world champion, he had to let veterans and legends step on his time. Hell, Swerve had to stay home for six weeks because of fragile, soft-ass, punk-ass egos got in the way! But Swerve ain’t letting it happen, not even Ospreay.

Swerve built a career off of throwing Molotov cocktails onto plans and destroying them. It’s what he does, it’s what he is, and that’s who Ospreay is, and Swerve can respect that. But speaking of, every time they step into the ring, it is fireworks! They change the conversation of what pro-wrestling is now, and what it’s gonna be, and they’ll do it again at Forbidden Door! Whether they are opponents or partners, it’s what they do. They raise the bar. But funnily enough, after ten years, one thing that has been certain is that Swerve Strickland is victorious over Will Ospreay. Ospreay has not been able to beat Swerve in ten YEARS!

Hell, the great “Billy Goat” in 2024, the tidal wave coming into AEW, couldn’t beat Swerve! So when Swerve mows over Ospreay and goes to Wembley to win the AEW World Championship a second time, maybe then Ospreay can come back and challenge Swerve. But guess what? He’ll beat Ospreay again, and again, and again. Because right now, this Ospreay is not better than Swerve on his worst day with that fragile-ass neck! Ospreay DECKS Swerve! The fans fire up as Ospreay dares Swerve to bring the fight now then! Nana hands Swerve the steel chain first. Swerve lashes at Ospreay but Ospreay stays back. And then the Death Riders make their way out here!

Ospreay smirks and Swerve is concerned as Moxley, Shafir, Garcia, and even Pac make their way to ringside. They surround the ring, but then Ospreay has them hold on. Swerve says Ospreay is wrong. He really has changed. Swerve leaves, but their fight is inevitable. Will the Most Dangerous Man become the Most Dangerous King of Harts? Or will Ospreay win his ticket home for All In: London?

Backstage interview with Chris Jericho.

Lexy Nair is with Y2J and is sure he heard Ciampa earlier. Ciampa wants to see the more serious side of Jericho, what is his response? Jericho thinks, and he says, “How about this? Ciampa, this Saturday night on Collision, right here in Houston, Texas, how about we meet up in the ring and get serious face to face?” Jericho smiles and leaves, but what will “getting serious” entail?

The Death Riders regroup backstage.

Garcia catches up to Ospreay and says Swerve just called him fragile! What the hell? What is Ospreay gonna do about that? Ospreay grabs Garcia by his shirt and shoves him up against a wall! Ospreay tells he doesn’t need Garcia to remind him! Garcia says okay, okay, c’mon. Moxley steps in and Ospreay asks, “What?” Does Ospreay feel in control? No, not really. Well, this hear, that out there, it’s just words. Words can’t hurt you unless you let them. They use words when they have absolutely nothing else. Ospreay is this close. This close. Do not lose control, do not lose focus. Just words, man. Garcia says yeah, it’s just words. Moxley smacks Garcia in the shoulder.

Moxley leads the way out, Garcia follows, and then so does Ospreay. The Maniac continues to be the voice of reason, will Ospreay use his actions to make Swerve regret his own?

12 Man Tag: Team MJF VS Team Briscoe!

Well, we know #BigHebrew is bringing The Jet, The Protostar, The Rainmaker, #DangerousDoyle and even The Real Latino Man, but they also bring a rocking new all star theme. But we haven’t heard a thing from the Sussex County Chicken. Well, we do now, as Briscoe calls out MJF as a “greasy little b*tch!” He heard MJF said Briscoe ain’t suited to be world champion. Briscoe’s heard it before, he’s heard people say he has a glass ceiling, but that’s all the more motivation to bust right through that thing! Now, who the team gonna be? Well, while MJF was playing “hide the pickle” with Don Callis, The Conglomeration has been conglomerating super hard.

And obviously, he has his boys right here, Orange Cassidy, Roderick Strong & Kyle O’Reilly. Protokada took out #BigTom, we saw that! The thing is, you can’t really take out Big Tom, he will be back, and they will avenge him! But these three here, obviously are the first three on the squad. Kyle says he has news. He overhead Tony Khan say that if anyone gets disqualified, they’re out at Forbidden Door. Oh, that is unfortunate, because Briscoe was hoping to beat MJF’s head in with a steel chair. But he’ll do this by the book. But they got two more to introduce! The first is chomping at the bit to go after Kyle Fletcher! It is KONOSUKE TAKESHITA!

The Alpha steps in, sporting a new jacket, and he tells Kyle that he warned Kyle! And Okada, he hates you! See you out there! Briscoe says beautifully said. The other man is a very good friend of theirs, not fond of MJF or Kevin Knight, it is DARBY ALLIN! The Relentless One steps in and says the glass ceiling Briscoe talks about, he’s been shattering it his entire life! It’s Briscoe’s time! Yeah, let’s go! Darby says tonight, they’re gonna beat MJF’s team! At Forbidden Door, they beat MJF’s team! Then Briscoe wins that title! Twelve man tag team action! Darby, Takeshita, Conglomeration, let’s go baby! RARARARAAAA!

Briscoe leads the charge and the fans are already fired up! Will nothing stop this dream team from taking #DCMJF and tearing it apart?

Dynamite returns and the teams finally sort out. The fans cheer on Andrade, but MJF insists he start with Briscoe. The bell rings, the fans rally, but then MJF tags to Andrade. MJF says the fans all want him so why not. Knight holds the ropes open for his DCF brother, and Andrade steps in. Andrade argues with MJF, MJF says be a team player. Briscoe fires off hands on Andrade! Briscoe whips, Andrade reverses, but Briscoe ducks under the hurdle. Briscoe CLOBBERS Andrade, taunts MJF, then goes out after Andrade. Andrade RAMS into Briscoe, then throws him back into the ring. Andrade finds a lovely lady up front and takes a selfie!

The fans cheer while Andrade goes back to the ring, but Briscoe WRECKS Andrade with a dropkick! Knight was a second late to warning Andrade, and Briscoe puts Andrade in the ring. Briscoe climbs up and he rains down fists! The fans count along, all the way to TEN! Tag to Roddy, he climbs up to rain down fists! The fans count again, Roddy goes to TEN fast! Tag to Cassidy, he steps in, and the fans fire up as Cassidy winds up, but Andrade lifts Cassidy away! Cassidy sunset flips, and he pulls Andrade’s pants down! Thankfully Andrade was wearing the yellow ring trunks like last time! Andrade tags out to Kyle while he gets the pants off.

Kyle stares Cassidy down, but then Cassidy points to the other Kyle. Cassidy points back and forth between them, and he tags in O’Reilly! The fans fire up as we get the battle of Kyles! They circle, feel things out, but Fletcher flexes. The fans boo, but then Fletcher circles with O’Reilly. They tie up, O’Reilly wrenches and wristlocks, then CLUBS the arm. O’Reilly goes to hammerlock but Fletcher moves around. The fans duel, “Let’s Go, Kyle!” “KYLE SUCKS!” Fletcher rolls, wrenches, and wristlocks back. O’Reilly spins, drop toeholds, then floats to a facelock. Fletcher fights up but O’Reilly wrenches again. Fletcher scoops to SLAM O’Reilly!

The fans boo as Fletcher taunts Darby, but the ref keeps Darby back. Fletcher scoops, O’Reilly slips free to KICK, KICK, and KICK! Fletcher blocks but O’Reilly SLAPS, ankle picks, and rolls to ANKLE LOCK! But then everyone rushes in! The fans fire up for the brawl and it all spills to the outside! Darby fires off on Doyle, Knight fires off on Cassidy, Briscoe brawls with Okada while O’Reilly whips Andrade into barriers! Darby runs to COFFIN- NO, Doyle catches him! Darby fights free, DUMPS Doyle out, then goes up! Cassidy builds speed to DIVE onto Knight! Darby SUPER COFFIN SPLASHES Doyle!

The rest gather together, and Konosuke FLIES! Down goes The Don Callis Family! The fans fire up with Team Briscoe, and O’Reilly puts MJF in the ring. But MJF CLAWS the eyes! But then O’Reilly hot tags Darby! MJF is not happy to see Darby, but then Knight CLOBBERS Darby! Knight stomps away and MJF smiles. But Fletcher SHOVES Knight aside so he can stomp away on Darby! Knight shoves Fletcher, Fletcher shoves Knight, and the DCF once again has a sibling rivalry to worry about. Fletcher brings up he’s the legal man, Knight needs to back off. Knight stomps Darby on his way out, then Fletcher tags MJF.

MJF steps on Darby’s foot, stomps the leg, then does a victory lap before he tells Team Briscoe “SUCK IT!” The ref does his best to restore order while Dynamite goes picture in picture.

MJF CHOKES Darby, but stops as the ref counts. MJF drags Darby up, calls for the corner, and Okada puts his boot up. MJF SMACKS Darby off Okada’s boot, then tags him in. Okada stalks Darby, brings him up, but Darby fires body shots. Okada CLUBS Darby down while MJF tries to smooth things over with Fletcher. Fletcher isn’t having it, it seems. Okada UPPERCUTS Darby, Darby staggers, but Okada UPPERCUTS! And kicks low to DDT! Okada looms over Darby, taunts Briscoe’s team, then drags Darby back. Tag to Doyle and he drags Darby up. Doyle fireman’s carries, roars, and he military presses, only for Darby to sunset flip!

Doyle stays up, but Darby slips away! Hot tag to Cassidy! CROSSBODY, but Doyle catches him! Doyle suplexes, but into STUN-DOG MILLIONAIRE! Cassidy ducks ‘n’ dodges, tilt-o-whirls, but Doyle stops the DDT to BODY CHECK Cassidy! Doyle then drags Cassidy over, tags MJF, and MJF wrenches Cassidy to hand off to Doyle for ELBOW BREAKER after ELBOW BREAKER! The ref is busy keeping Team Briscoe under control so Doyle gets in about TEN! Then Knight tags in so he can ROCK Cassidy! Knight wrenches Cassidy, hands him over, and Doyle gives Cassidy more ELBOW BREAKERS! Dynamite returns to single picture as Knight tags Fletcher in.

The fans rally but Kyle wrenches Cassidy to hand him over, and Doyle hits more ELBOW BREAKERS! The ref argues with Kyle as Cassidy gets another TEN! Kyle then tags MJF back in, he gloats as he brings Cassidy up, and he says one more time! But Cassidy gives MJF over, and Doyle fires off ELBOW BREAKERS! Andrade says yeah, keep going! But Kyle tells Doyle no, he’s got MJF in the trap! Doyle stops, looks behind him, and realizes the mistake! Andrade laughs while MJF complains to DCF! But Cassidy hot tags Roddy! Roddy BLASTS MJF into Dole, then SICK KICKS MJF! Roddy BLASTS Andrade, catches Knight, BACKBREAKER!

Fletcher runs in, but into a BACKBREAKER! Okada tries, but he gets the ATOMIC SLAM! The fans fire up as Roddy weaponizes Cassidy! He THROWS Cassidy into Knight, whips him into Fletcher, then throws him at Andrade for a RANA! Doyle is up but Roddy ROCKS him! Roddy bobs ‘n’ weaves, fires more elbows, then ROCKS Doyle again! But Doyle steps on Roddy’s foot! Roddy CHOPS, but Doyle DECKS Roddy! Doyle drags Roddy up, scoops him, but Roddy slips free to ANGLE SLAM! Cover, TWO! Doyle survives but the fans continue to rally. Roddy brings Doyle up, but Doyle scoops for a SHOULDER BUSTER! O’Reilly storms in and KICKS, KICKS, KICKS!

Doyle blocks a kick, ROCKS O’Reilly, but O’Reilly yoyos! LARIAT! Doyle stays up to ROCK O’Reilly again! Doyle runs, into a JUMP KNEE! Then AX ‘N’ SMASH! Andrade is in, FLYING FOREARM on O’Reilly! Andrade kips up, but Darby fires off a flurry! Darby runs, but Knight trips him up! And then SHADOW ELBOW! But Cassidy tilt-o-whirls to DDT Andrade! Cassidy kips up, but Okada is there to scoop him and TOMBSTONE! But Konosuke slips in, ALPHA- NO, Okada ducks the elbow! RAIN- NO, Konosuke BOOTS Okada, fires off boxing elbows, but Fletcher CLUBS Konosuke! Fletcher holds Konosuke but Konosuke BOOTS Okada again!

Konosuke ELBOWS Fletcher, WAGAMAMA KNEE for Okada, but the SNAP HALF ‘N’ HALF on Konosuke! Then the GAMANGIRI in the corner! And a suplex for the- NO, Konosuke fights that to suplex! Kyle fights that to wrench, but the ALPHA ELBOW hits! Kyle SUPERKICKS back! Kyle runs, but Konosuke dodges to BLUE THUNDER BOMB!! All twelve men are down around ringside and the fans are thunderous for “A E DUB! A E DUB!” Things sort out and MJF reaches out. Doyle hot tags MJF, Roddy hot tags Briscoe! MJF stops in his tracks as the fans fire up! Briscoe dares MJF to fight him, but Knight runs up! Briscoe blocks the shot to UPPERCUT Knight!

MJF runs away like the coward he is but Briscoe looks for a target. Briscoe drags Doyle in but Okada attacks Briscoe! Okada whips, Briscoe CLOBBERS Okada! Fletcher is in, Briscoe clinches, EXPLODER! Doyle runs up, but into an ELBOW! Briscoe DUMPS Doyle out, but MJF sneaks back in! Briscoe blocks the kick to kick and spin MJF! Briscoe reels MJF in, JAY- NO, Knight springboards to FLYING LARIAT! But then Darby CLOBBERS Knight! The fans fire up as Darby scraps with Knight! Knight bails out, runs away, but Darby pursues! They go off into the night, will they go all the way to San Jose from here?

Knight flounders onto the stage but Darby has him! Darby CHOKES Knight at the ramp! Doyle hurries after Darby with the SLEEPER! The fans boo but Knight helps mug Darby! The fans boo but Knight & Doyle THROW Darby into the post!! Darby tumbles away and Callis is loving it! MJF has Briscoe in the ropes, HEAT- NO, Briscoe THROWS MJF away! The bad leg jams up, Briscoe underhooks him! JAY DRILLER!! Cover, BUT CALLIS DISTRACTS THE REF! The fans boo as Briscoe has won twice over! Briscoe is furious, but he drags MJF to a drop zone. The brawling continues outside as Briscoe climbs, but Fletcher trips him up!

Roddy tags in and he GAMANGIRIS Fletcher! Roddy hauls MJF up, reels him in, but MJF WRINGS the arm! SALT OF THE EARTH ARMBAR!! Roddy TAPS, Team MJF wins!!

Winner: Team MJF, by submission

MJF thrashes Roddy around to make a point, and now the team just mugs Team Briscoe! The fans boo but Kyle KICKS away on Kyle, Knight HAMMERS Darby, then UPPERCUTS him! Callis applauds as Okada KNEES and TOSSES Briscoe around! MJF has them hold on, he wants them all to focus on Briscoe. MJF brings out the Dynamite Diamond Ring! The fans tell Callis off, but then Andrade tells MJF to do his own dirty work. Callis hurries to keep the peace again, because gain, money and titles await. Andrade stands Briscoe up, MJF aims, DYNAMITE DIAMOND RING PUNCH!! The fans boo but the damage is done!

MJF holds up the belt, he smooths things over with all the Don Callis Family members, and they stand tall together. Will nothing stop these “all stars” from taking over All Elite Wrestling?

My Thoughts:

A great Dynamite, really filled the two-and-a-half hours because yeah, they really went into the overrun. Good stuff with MJF and Don Callis Family bookending the night, though per usual, MJF takes a little longer with his promos than he needs to. Protokada taking out Ishii was a great opening for bringing Takeshita into this, and there was great use of dysfunction within Don Callis Family for that 12 Man. MJF and team winning out fits, it puts the pressure on Team Briscoe for Forbidden Door, and we still have a go-home to go where Briscoe likely gets his payback. Now, hard to say if Team Briscoe wins at Forbidden Door, but given Andrade and even Fletcher don’t like MJF much, they could easily cost MJF so that he has to face Briscoe before All In.

Omega VS Nese was very filler just to give Omega another win on his record, but I did like TMDK showing up and then The Elite reinforcing Kenny. I believe ZSJ is gonna have a match for Collision then, which he’ll obviously win to keep pace with Kenny. An interesting thing is Kenny is talking like AEW fans wouldn’t know what TMDK is. I mean, I suppose there are fans who are only American wrestling fans, like formerly WWE fans that moved to watching AEW, and therefore know nothing about NJPW. But at the same time, I believe the majority of AEW fans are those who watched a lot of non-WWE programming and absolutely watched NJPW. Maybe it’s just Kenny’s way of being passive aggressive to ZSJ.

Great tag match from Moxley & Garcia VS Brodido, and great win for Brodido to also set up Moxley VS Bandido. I would think Moxley wins that, Bandido is still ROH World Champion and looks to still be ROH World Champion for a long time. Great promo from Ospreay and Swerve, though they maybe went a little longer in time, too. Swerve riling up Ospreay, Ospreay hitting first, and then Death Riders backing him up, all good stuff, as was Ospreay getting pissed at Garcia and Moxley talking him down. I would think Ospreay is still winning at Forbidden Door, but that match will be even hotter now because of this exchange.

Very good promo from Theka to respond to Starlight Kid, and their match will be great for sure. And awesome Women’s Owen Hart Cup match, almost finals/PPV worthy in itself. I figured Mone would win but Hazuki looked so, so close so many times. I’m thinking Athena meets Mone in the finals, as great as Maya World has been, because then we can get last year’s Queen of Harts VS The Forever ROH Women’s World Champion to prove who is really the best right now. Then that woman will be red hot going after Thekla for All In: London, where again, we prove who is really the best right now.

My Score: 9/10
