Unbound Company meets Unbound Company as Mr. Extreme fights to stay afloat. Will this still be the X Block after all? Or will Daiki finally score by derailing the X Express?

The bell rings and Daiki runs up, but Robbie catches the dropkick to jackknife bridge! TWO and Daiki sunset flips, TWO and Robbie sits on the cover, TWO! DOUBLE LARIATS collide, but both men stay up! Daiki runs, ducks ‘n’ dodges, then RANAS! Robbie tumbles to a corner while the fans fire up. Daiki runs up, jumps up, and MONKEY FLIPS, but Robbie lands on his feet! The fans fire up and Daiki is surprised. Daiki runs up but Robbie TOSSES him out! Robbie then runs, but Daiki slides in! Daiki BLASTS Robbie off the apron! Then Daiki DIVES into a GAMANGIRI! The fans cheer while Daiki tumbles down!

Robbie stands Daiki up just to ROCK him, then put him on the apron. Robbie SLAMS Daiki against the apron, then pushes him into the ring. Robbie snapmares and basement DROPKICKS! Cover, TWO! Daiki shoves Robbie, then JEEP FLIPS him outta the ring! The fans fire up as Daiki builds speed, and Daiki DIVES! Direct hit and Robbie ends up taking a seat! The fans fire up again as Daiki roars and rises! Daiki fetches Robbie and puts him in the ring.

Daiki fires up again and the fans rally as he climbs. MISSILE DROPKICK! Robbie tumbles to the corner, Daiki runs in, HYDRAULIC DROPKICK! Cover, TWO! Robbie is tougher than that but the fans rally behind Daiki. Daiki drags Robbie up, scoops, and SLAMS! Daiki goes to a corner, he climbs up top, and DIVING- NO, Robbie dodges! Then TIGER WALL KICK! But Daiki trips Robbie, only for Robbie to twist and somersault clutch! TWO, and Daiki runs up to MONKEY FLIP! Robbie FLOPS this time, and Daiki hurries to cover, TWO! Daiki keeps on Robbie with the BOSTON CRAB! The fans fire up as Robbie endures!

Robbie reaches out, fights his way forward, and he makes the ROPEBREAK! Daiki lets go, and the fans continue to rally. Daiki storms back over to Robbie, drags him up, and scoops to SLAM! Daiki roars and the fans cheer as he climbs the corner. DIVING HEADBUTT FLOP as Robbie moves! Robbie then facelocks and bridges into the LAST CHANCERY! Daiki endures, fights around, but Robbie rolls it back to reel Daiki in! SIT-OUT POWERBOMB! Cover, TWO!! Daiki survives and the fans fire up as Robbie calls his shot! LETHAL INJECTION X! Best of the Super Juniors 33 B Block: KUSHIDA VS Yoshinobu Kanemaru!

Time ran out on The Timesplitter, but the Heel Master is in the hot seat. Can Kushida spoil things for Kanemaru before the end? Or will Kanemaru find a way to survive until the end?

Kushida keeps his eyes on Kanemaru the entire time he steps into the ring, and even as he puts his gear aside. And of course, Kushida goes barefoot once again. The bell rings, Kushida dodges a dropkick but Kanemaru avoids the low kick. Kushida avoids a stomp to his toes to then headlock. Kanemaru switches the headlock onto Kushida, and holds on even as Kushida tries to power out. Kushida rolls to a cover, ONE, and Kanemaru grinds the hold. Kushida powers up but still can’t power out as Kanemaru holds tight. Kushida powers up and out this third time, but then Kanemaru drops down onto the dropdown for another headlock.

Kushida slips out fast and headlocks in return. The fans cheer this technical exchange while Kanemaru endures the grind. Kanemaru rolls to a cover, ONE! Another try, TWO! Kushida pushes up on the hold, but Kanemaru fights up to his feet. Kanemaru power sup but can’t power out as now Kushida holds tight. Kushida puts on the pressure, it’s almost a Just Facelock. Kanemaru still endures, fights back up, and he pulls hair! The ref reprimands but Kanemaru whips Kushida away to headlock. Kushida slips out to headlock, but Kanemaru sends him to a corner. Kanemaru runs in, Kushida puts him on the apron.

Kushida avoids the shoulder thrust, and he headlocks Kanemaru in the ropes! The ref reprimands, but Kushida drags Kanemaru in to grind him down. The fans cheer Kushida on as he puts on the pressure. Kanemaru fights up, up, and fires body shots. Kanemaru powers up and out, but Kushida RUNS him over! Things keep moving, Kanemaru stays low, and he trips Kushida to then SMASH the knee! The fans rally for Kushida while he clutches the leg. Kanemaru checks his neck before he storms over to Kushida. Kanemaru grabs a leg, hits a SHIN BREAKER, then he trips Kushida to YANK the leg! Kushida writhes again but the fans still rally.

Kanemaru steps over to KNEE JAMMER! Then Kanemaru KNEES the bad leg, KNEES it again, then ELBOW DROPS on it! Kanemaru hooks the leg up in a toehold but Kushida endures. Kushida fights back with a chinlock, and he grinds Kanemaru into a headlock! The fans cheer the escape, but then Kanemaru has the leg again! SHIN BREAKER! Kushida clutches the leg but Kanemaru is right after him again. Kanemaru steps through to a FIGURE FOUR! The fans rally as Kushida endures the leglock, and Kushida fights his way over. Kushida powers his way to the ROPEBREAK! Kanemaru holds on until the ref pries at the hold.

Kushida crawls away to the ropes but Kanemaru stalks him. Kanemaru stomps Kushida to a corner, then whips him corner to corner. Kushida hobbles and falls, but he manages to crawl the rest of the way. Kanemaru runs up, but into a BOOT! Kanemaru comes back, he blocks the boot this time, and he reels Kushida in. But Kushida jumps to leg scissor roll! Cover, TWO! Kanemaru escapes but Kushida dodges to PELE! The fans cheer while both men are down! Kushida clutches the knee, shakes out that leg, then hobbles his way back to Kanemaru. Kanemaru stands, and Kushida KICKS his arm again and again!

Kanemaru blocks a kick, CLUBS the leg, then whips. Kushida reverses to HIP TOSS and- NO, Kanemaru blocks the dropkick to get the FIGURE FOUR! The fans rally as Kushida endures again! Kushida pries at the hold but Kanemaru puts on more pressure! The fans rally as Kushida rolls, rolls, and makes the ROPEBREAK! Kanemaru lets go while the fans applaud. Kanemaru then drags Kushida up, suplexes, but Kushida lands out. Kushida waistlocks, but Kanemaru mule kicks the leg! Kanemaru runs, tilt-o-whirls, but Kushida slips through! Kushida tilt-o-whirls now, but Kanemaru stops the rotation! And he SMACKS the ref using Kushida!

The fans are torn but Kanemaru runs up to DROPKICK the leg out! Kushida is down, as is the ref, and Kanemaru goes for his whiskey! But Kushida dodges the bottle shot! But the bottle is used to block the Fastball! Jackknife bridge, TWO! Kanemaru runs up, HEADSCISSOR TAKEDOWN! Cover, TWO! Kushida escapes but Kanemaru rolls to somersault clutch! TWO, and FIGURE- NO, Kushida throws Kanemaru around! Kushida dodges a dropkick to PENALTY KICK the arm! Kushida fires up, goes to run, but he avoids Kanemaru’s stomp to the foot! FASTBALL SPECIAL! Kanemaru drops to his knees, PENALTY KICK again!

The Funky Weapon and his new hairstyle are on the hot seat, right as the Crown of Fire is heating back up. Will Akira conquer this block for the United Empire? Or can Taguchi stay serious and survive another round?

Wait, does Akira have an electric razor!? Taguchi runs away from Akira, around the ring, then back inside! Taguchi blocks the razor, kicks low, and he whips Akira to ropes. The bell rings as Akira reverses, but Taguchi HIP ATTACKS into an Atomic Drop! Akira then messes up Taguchi’s hair! The fans boo but Akira soaks up the heat. Akira messes Taguchi’s hair up more, then runs, but into a SOMERSAULT HIP ATTACK! Akira tumbles out, Taguchi goes up and TRIANGLE JUMP PLANCHAS! Down goes Akira, and Taguchi fixes his hair. The fans cheer as Taguchi forces Akira’s hair to part at the center!

Taguchi puts Akira in the ring, throws off his shirt, and he calls upon the powers of Strong Style! “ORYA~!” KETSUYE! Cover, TWO! But into OH MY GAH ANKLE! Akira scrambles around but Taguchi reels him in! But Akira victory rolls, TWIO! Taguchi has it, TWO! They roll, roll, and Taguchi has it! TWO!! Charisma Itself is on the edge while the Murder Machine is just outside the top of the block. Will Sho make sure Daisuke’s bubble bursts? Or will Daisuke find a way to outcheat the cheater?

Sho carries a portrait of Dick Togo to the ring, as if to rub it in that Dick is in House of Torture and one of his top students, Daisuke, is not. But Daisuke knows to have reinforcements when dealing with The House of Torture, and he brings “Super Red Comet,” Hideki Okatani! But Sho just attacks them both anyway! He kicks Daisuke low, then kicks Hideki! Sho CLUBS Hideki down, but the ref reprimands before Sho can use Hideki’s own kendo stick on him. Sho stomps Daisuke, then kicks him. The ref reprimands but Sho drags Daisuke up and into the ring. Sho stomps Daisuke again, stands on his head, but the ref reprimands.

Sho pushes the ref aside, stomps Daisuke, but wait! ANOTHER Daisuke runs in and CLUBS Sho! Sho and the fans are all shocked! The other guy wasn’t Daisuke?! It was ILUSION, wearing Daisuke’s skull mask over his own mask! The bell rings and the real Daisuke CLAWS Sho’s eyes! Daisuke throws hands, then whips, but Sho reverses. Daisuke reverses back to kick and DDT! The fans fire up as Daisuke then SUPERKICKS Sho to a corner! Daisuke runs corner to corner but Sho dodges the elbow. Sho runs up, Daisuke pops him up and NOW OR NEVER! Cover, TWO! CROSSFACE! Sho endures, flails, reaches around, but here comes Yujiro Takahsahi!

Tokyo Pip YANKS the ref outta the ring, then KICKS Daisuke! Yujiro intercepts Hideki and TOSSES him out! Yujiro bumps Daisuke off buckles, stomps away, and Sho joins in. They double whip Daisuke, then Yujiro LARIATS! Sho runs in and LARIATS, then he snapmares Daisuke so Yujiro can FALLING HEADBUTT! Right to the charisma! Cover, but the ref is down! Sho would’ve won a couple times over, but this is what happens when you play dirty. Yujiro sends the ref back in, but Ilusion YANKS the ref back out! The fans cheer as Ilusion gets in Yujiro’s face. Then Hideki JAMS Yujiro up with his kendo stick!

Sho hurries outside but Hideki SMACKS him! And SMACKS him again! The fans cheer as Hideki SMACKS Sho again! And again! Sho writhes while the fans cheer, but Hideki steps on Sho. Ilusion taunts Sho, then they send Sho in for Daisuke. Daisuke has a STUN STICK!? Sho panics, but he shows the image of Dick-shishou! Daisuke says how dare Sho do that to him! Daisuke has no choice but to bow in respect! But then he STILL STUNS THE PICTURE?! Sho SMACKS Daisuke with it! Daisuke falls, Sho reels him in, and Sho tucks the arms! SHOCK ARROW!! Cover, SHO WINS!

The Valiant One is out of the running but The Prodigy is so close to the semifinals, he can almost taste them! Will Nick keep his run going for another round? Or will Valiente spoil things for him before the end?

The bell rings and the fans rally up already as the two circle. They tie up, then break, then tie up again. Nick whips to WRING Valiente, then runs the ropes. Valiente drops down, Nick handsprings over, but Valiente ducks a kick. Valiente RAMS Nick, runs, but Nick dodges. Valiente handsprings, but Nick wrenches to whip again. Valiente lounges in the corner! The fans cheer, Nick runs up, but Valiente slips outside, slingshots inside, and runs up. Nick hurdles then UPPERCUTS! Nick handsprings back up and the fans cheer. Nick shakes out his arm before he brings Valiente to a corner. Nick CHOPS and the fans cheer!

Valiente sputters against the ropes but Nick brings him around. Nick snapmares, then leg drops! Cover, ONE! Valiente is tougher than that but Nick stays cool. Nick brings Valiente up, whips him to a corner, then runs in for an UPPERCUT! Nick snapmares Valiente again, goes up the corner, and MISSILE DROPKICKS! Cover, TWO! The fans applaud as Valiente toughs it out and goes to the apron. Nick steps outside to join him, then stands Valiente up. Valiente CHOPS Nick, but Nick CHOPS back! Valiente CHOPS again, so Nick CHOPS again! Valiente stands Nick up to CHOP! Nick mule kicks! Nick says a quick prayer before he brings Valiente up.

Nick cravats, ASAI- NO, Valiente DUMPS Nick into the ring. Valiente then GAMANGIRIS and Nick staggers away. Valiente slingshots in, then hops on, CODE RED! Cover, TWO! But Valiente has the legs for a CALF KILLER SPREADER! The fans rally up as Nick endures, and Nick crawls around to the ROPEBREAK! The fans cheer, the ref counts, and Valiente lets go at 4. Valiente then underhooks, but Nick fights the lift! Valiente CHOPS Nick down for it! Then Valiente underhooks again, Canadian- NO, Nick slips free! Nick hooks the arms but Valiente swings Nick out, only for Nick to duck the lariat! Nick goes for the full nelson but Valiente breaks free!

Nick ducks an elbow but the SOBAT hits! Valiente whips Nick to a corner, runs up, but Nick BOOTS him away! Nick runs up, ROLLING CRUCIFIX DRIVER! Even Nick is a bit surprised he pulled that off! The fans fire up with Nick and he goes to the apron. Nick ASAI MOONSAULTS and down goes Valiente! The fans fire up again, and Nick hurries to put Valiente in the ring. Nick stalks Valiente, brings him up, and goes to full nelson. DRAGON SUPLEX! Bridging cover, TWO!! Valiente escapes just in time and Nick is stunned! The fans rally up again and Nick calls his shot! Nick goes up, up, and WAYNE’s- NO, Valiente backslides Nick! TWO!!

The Sniper of the Skies vowed to win all the way to the end and finally be the Best of the Super Juniors! Meanwhile, #DangerousJAY is holding onto hope that he can make it to the next round! Will Jakob’s Ladder help him climb up the block? Or will Eagles knock him out of the running?

Eagles offers a handshake, but Jakob refuses. The bell rings, the fans rally, and the two circle. They tie up, are in a deadlock, then they break. The fans applaud and the two go again. They feel out a knuckle lock, but then Jakob kicks, wrenches, and bends fingers! Eagles goes to the ropes, the ref counts, and Jakob stops at 4. Jakob whips but Eagles blocks. Eagles taunts Jakob, but Jakob CHOPS Eagles! The fans cheer while Jakob whips, but Eagles reverses to tornado arm-drag! Things keep moving, Eagles hurdles and RANAS Jakob away! The fans cheer, and Eagles WHEEL KICKS Jakob back down! The fans cheer while Eagles kips up.

Eagles goes to the ring, but Jakob CHOKES him using his own ascot! Eagles KNEES low, then whips, but Jakob grabs ropes. Jakob TOSSES Eagles out, blocks a gamangiri, then RAMS low! Then he turns Eagles for a HOTSHOT NECKBREAKER! Jakob builds speed, and he WRECKS Eagles with a dropkick! Eagles stumbles and falls back, and then Jakob tells fans to move! The fans hurry aside, and Jakob BOWLS Eagles into chairs! STRIKE, all the way to the wood bleachers right behind the chairs! Jakob mocks the “Robbie Robbie Robbie!” while the ref checks on Eagles. Eagles is able to continue so Jakob puts him in the ring. Cover, TWO!

The fans applaud as Eagles is still in this, but Jakob CLUBS Eagles down! Jakob paces, then he brings Eagles up for a chinbar neck wrench! Jakob digs his forearm into Eagles’ face, so the ref reprimands and counts. Jakob stops at 4, then he mocks the fans cheering Eagles on. Jakob whips Eagles to a corner, runs up, and forearm SMASH! Then he brings Eagles around, but Eagles slips through to KNEE and KICK! Jakob falls and the fans fire up! Eagles KICKS, and KICKS, and KICKS! Then Eagles runs, but Jakob blocks the kick! Jakob spins Eagles but Eagles SOBATS! Eagles SWEEPS the legs, then PENALTY KICKS! Cover, TWO!

The fans rally as Eagles steps through, but Jakob kicks and kicks and kicks! Eagles KICKS the leg! Eagles roars, the fans cheer, but Jakob BOOTS Eagles away! Eagles comes back to ROCK and UPPERCUT Jakob, then whip. Jakob reverses, Eagles grabs ropes, but Jakob runs up. Eagles ELBOWS Jakob, then slips under to sunset flip. Jakob rolls through to SHINING WIZARD! Cover, TWO, but Jakob steps through for an EDGE-O-CUTION! The fans rally as Eagles endures the hold, fights his way around, and has the ROPEBREAK! The ref counts, Jakob lets go at 4, and Eagles clutches his legs. Jakob still mocks the fans cheering Eagles on.

Jakob drags Eagles up, cravats for a neck wrench, but Eagles pries at the hold. Eagles wrenches through but Jakob headlocks. Jakob CLUBS away on Eagles’ head, then suplexes. Eagles KNEES free, then ROUNDHOUSES, SUPERKICKS, and PELES! Then ASAI- NO, Jakob slips free! Eagles waistlocks, Jakob ELBOWS free, then he goes to the corner. Eagles follows but Jakob mule kicks him! Jakob cravats, JAKOB’S LADDER!! Cover, TWO!! Eagles survives, but Jakob hurries to suplex, ANARCHY!! Cover, TWO!! The fans cheer as Eagles survives again. The fans fire up as Eagles escapes with nanoseconds to spare! Eagles hurries, he and Jakob both ROCK the other with a forearm! Then they both BOOT the other! Both men go to corners, shake out the stars, and Jakob runs up! Eagles dodges, but Jakob BOOTS! Eagles BASEMENT 619s! Then he springboards to SNIPER DROPKICK! The fans fire up and Eagles runs to HYPERION!! Cover, Eagles wins!

Best of the Super Juniors 33 A Block: Master Wato VS Jun Kasai!

The Way to the Grandmaster is not too far off from the top of this block, but neither is this Deathmatch junkie! Will Wato continue to ride a wave of momentum into the final round? Or will he lose to Crazy Monkey Style?

Wait, Kasai attacks Wato during his entrance! They brawl right in front of the front row and the fans fire up! The forearms go back and forth, then Kasai KNEES low! Kasai reels Wato in but Wato fights the suplex! The ref reprimands but Kasai KNEES Wato low again. Kasai wants the fans on the upper deck to move?! Kasai whips Wato, but Wato stops from hitting the ledge. Wato sends Kasai into the ledge, then shoves him away. Wato goes up and clears out space so he can run and CROSSBODY! Down goes Kasai and the fans fire up with Wato! Wato hurries to fetch Kasai, and he whips, only for Kasai to reverse! The bell rings as Wato hits the POST!

Kasai goes looking under the ring, and he brings out a chair! Kasai runs up and CHUCKS the chair at Wato’s head! Wato falls with the chair, then Kasai HAMMERS away on the forehead! Kasai DIGS his fingers into Wato’s forehead, maybe even uses something he snuck in here, then he leaves Wato behind to revel in the cheers. Kasia puts a bloody Wato in the ring, then sits him up to BITE at the forehead! The fans are torn but the ref reprimands, and Kasai stops at 4. Wato clutches his bloody forehead but Kasai stomps him. Kasai then brings Wato up, bumps him off buckles, then whips him corner to corner. Kasai runs up and LARIATS!

The fans rally as Kasai climbs up, and Kasai BITES the bloody forehead! The fans are torn, the ref counts, but Kasai SPITS the taste out of his mouth! Kasai throws hands on Wato, then eggs him on. Wato CHOPS, the fans cheer, and Kasai nods. Kasai ROCKS Wato, Wato CHOPS Kasai, but Kasai just smiles. Kasai ROCKS Wato, Wato ROCKS him back, but Kasai CLAWS Wato’s face! The ref reprimands but Kasai hauls Wato up for a BIG back suplex! Cover, TWO! Wato survives and the fans cheer, but Kasai argues the count. The fans rally as Kasai kicks Wato around then scuffs his face. Kasai fires Kawada Kicks, then reels Wato in for a DDT!

Wato sputters but Kasai pushes Wato over for a cover, TWO! Kasai again argues the count, then he has the ref stand aside. Kasai brings out his bamboo skewers! The ref reprimands, they fight over the skewers, and Kasai SHOVES the ref down! Kasai aims, but Wato blocks! The fans rally as Wato fights against the skewers, then he kicks Kasai low! Wato grabs the skewers, Kasai says hold on, and Wato THRWOS them aside! BUZZSAW! Wato roars, the fans fire up, and Wato builds speed while Kasai bails out. But Kasai ducks, so Wato pulls up, and PLANCHAS! Down goes Kasai and the fans fire up with Wato!

Wato staggers around a bit, perhaps woozy from losing blood. The ring count climbs but Wato brings Kasai around. Wato puts Kasai in at 7 of 20, then climbs up a corner. Wato MISSILE DROPKICKS Kasai down! Cover, TWO! Kasai is tougher than that, but the fans rally behind Wato again. Wato rises, he brings Kasai up to wrench and clinch, RECIEN- NO, Kasai fights the lift! Wato KNEES Kasai low, then whips him to ropes. Kasai reverses, mule kicks, and ENZIGIRIS! Wato wobbles, Kasai runs, but Wato BOOTS him! Wato runs, but into a LARIAT! Both men are down and the fans fire up again! Kasai does push-ups!

Kasai brings Wato up, reels him in, and underhooks. Kasai lifts but Wato fights free! Wato slips around to waistlock, Kasai switches and hooks Wato to a backslide, TWO! Kasai hurries to underhook, SWEET CHOCOLATE!! Wato is down from that driver, and Kasai grabs the SYRINGES! The ref reprimands, but Kasai sticks himself with the syringes! Kasai runs and runs and runs and CRAZY LARIATS!! Cover, TWO?!? Wato survives and the fans are thunderous! Kasai brings Wato up, gives him the kiss of death, then scoops for the SLAM! Kasai blows some snot on Wato before he goes up the corner. Goggles on, salute, and PEARL HARBOR onto knees!

Wato survives but that was a bit double-edged for his legs. Kasai still has a sinister grin as he fires a forearm on Wato. Wato shakes his head and comes back with a forearm! The forearms go back and forth, then both men stand. Kasai fires back up and he fires another forearm! Wato fires back, the shots keep going, and Kasai thanks Wato for this fight! HEADBUTT! Wato wobbles, but he stays on his feet! Wato thanks Kasai back, then HEADBUTTS! Kasai falls! Wato roars! The fans fire up as Wato brings Kasai up, TSUTEN- NO, Kasai fires elbows! But Wato hooks the arms! But Kasai spins through! Both men fight for control, and Kasai KNEES and CLUBS Wato!

Kasai reels Wato in, GOING MY WAY!! Kasai wins!

It was a furious fight, and it ends with a rather technical takedown! And while Kasai moves up and Wato moves down, they’re both still just outside the top spot! Will Wato rebound in the final round? Or will Kasai make the semifinals hardcore?

Best of the Super Juniors 33 B Block: Taiji Ishimori VS HYO!

The Bone Soldier is coming off a big win in last round’s main event, but The Panther has overcome the House of Torture to both take back Myon Myon and gain ground in the tournament. Will Hyo continue Hunting through the block? Or will Taiji stand tall #ByGrace?

The moment the introductions are down, Hyo RANAS Taiji! The fans fire up and the bell rings as Hyo storms up on Taiji. Hyo whips, Taiji reverses, but Hyo goes up and over to handspring away! The fans fire up again and both men run up,  Hyo DROPKICKS Taiji out of the ring! Taiji finally gets his jacket off, and Hyo builds speed to FLY! Direct hit and down goes Taiji! Hyo stands on the railing and the fans fire up behind him! The ref hurries to check Taiji while Hyo revels in the cheers. Hyo goes back for Taiji, drags him up and puts him in the ring. Hyo rallies the fans before he runs corner to corner, but Taiji puts him on the apron!

Hyo slingshots back in for a CUTTER! Hyo hurries to reel Taiji in, SAIDO! Bridging cover, TWO!! Taiji survives but Hyo keeps cool. Hyo waits on Taiji as he rises up, and Hyo runs up to STUNNER! Then SOMER- NO, Taiji turns the wheelbarrow into a SLAM! BONE LOCK!! Hyo endures, fights around, and reaches out, even as Taiji pulls back! The fans rally, Hyo fights forward, but Taiji rolls him away! Taiji dragon sleepers for the BLOODY SUNDAY! Cover, TWO! Hyo survives and the fans rally up again. Taiji says BANG, then storms over to Hyo. Taiji drags Hyo up, around, reels him in, BLOODY- NO, Hyo fights free!

Taiji KNEES low, runs, but Hyo dodges, slides, and gets the zoomies! Then a STUNNER and SOMERSAULT DRIVER!! Cover, TWO!?!? Taiji survives and the fans fire up again! Hyo goes up a corner, he takes aim, and the fans fire up for HUNT- NO, Taiji backslides, rolls through, BLOODY CROSS!! Cover, TAIJI WINS!

Now that was fast ‘n’ furious! Hyo tried to go from panther to cheetah, but maybe that was too fast even for him! Will Hyo have to settle for being a spoiler next round? As for Taiji, will he still find a way to finally win his first BOSJ?

Best of the Super Juniors 33 A Block: Titan VS Kosei Fujita!

El Inmortal had a hot start but has suffered losses since, and the Japanese Young Punk is just a step behind. Will Titan still keep that first place to himself? Or will Fujita remind us why he’s the Best of the Super Juniors?

The bell rings and the fans rally up already. Titan and Fujita circle, feel things out, then back away. They reset, feel things out again, and Fujita waistlocks. Titan spins to facelock, but Fujita wrenches free to wristlock. Titan endures, rolls, kips up, then cartwheels to handspring and arm-drag! The fans cheer the technical exchange, and then Fujita bridges up to arm-drag in return! Titan dodges, Fujita dodges, and both men block a kick! The fans applaud, and the two agree to let go. They set the feet down, but then Fujita holds on! Fujita CHOPS Titan down and the fans applaud. Titan is stinging but Fujita brings him up and around.

Fujita CHOPS Titan to a corner, then whips him corner to corner. Titan goes up and over and handsprings away! The fans cheer, and Titan runs back in, but Fujita puts him on the apron. Titan blocks a shot, GAMANGIRIS, then springboards, but Fujita catches him! Fujita shifts from one arm to the other to trap it, then he bends the arm back! Clarky Cat, Fujita Remix! The fans rally as Titan endures, kicks his way, but Fujita grabs a leg! Titan still reaches with the other for the ROPEBREAK! Fujita lets go with a grin, and he KICKS Titan in the side. Titan kicks back from below, but Fujita grabs a leg for a HALF CRAB!

Titan endures, reaches out for ropes, but Fujita drags him back to center! The fans rally as Titan still fights, but Fujita drags him back again! BOSTON CRAB! Titan endures the full crab, but he still fights! Fujita still brings him back from ropes! But Titan refuses to give up, and he makes the ROPEBREAK! The fans cheer while Fujita lets go. Fujita stomps Titan, drags him up, and he CHOPS! Titan goes to ropes, Fujita CLUBS him, then Fujita ROCKS him! Titan goes to a corner and the ref has Fujita back up. Titan assures the ref he can continue, so Fujita stands him up to whip. Titan reverses, then runs up, but into a BOOT!

Fujita runs up, but Titan goes Matrix to then CALF KICK! The fans fire up with Titan and he springboards to MISSILE DROPKICK! Titan then builds speed and DIVES! Down goes Fujita and the fans fire up! Titan roars and rises, the fans cheer more, and Titan brings Fujita up. Titan puts Fujita in the ring, but Fujita bails out the other side. Titan builds speed again, and he DIVES! Another direct hit and Fujita tumbles into the wood bleachers! The fans fire up with Titan again, but he needs a moment while the ring count climbs. Titan brings Fujita up from the bleachers, puts him in the ring at 14, then springboards to SPLASH! Cover, TWO!

Fujita survives but Titan ties up the legs, TRAILER HITCH! Fujita scrambles to the ropebreak! The fans cheer as Titan lets go, and Titan hobbles his way around. Titan KICKS Fujita in the side, then brings him up. Titan winds up, CHOPS, and the fans cheer again! Fujita is stinging but Titan comes back to bring him up. Titan KNEES low, whips Fujita to ropes, but Fujita reverses to GAMANGIRI! Both men are down and the fans fire back up. Fujita goes to a corner, he goes to the apron, and he throws Titan’s “over mask” away before he springboards and MISSLE DROPKICKS! The fans are torn but Fujita crawls to a cover, TWO!

The fans rally as Titan toughs it out, and Fujita drags Titan into a waistlock. Fujita deadlifts, but Titan fires elbows to free himself. Fujita CHOPS Titan, but Titan CHOPS in return! The fans cheer as the CHOPS keep going, harder and harder, faster and faster! CHOP, CHOP, CHOP, and then Titan roars! Titan fires fast hands, kicks, and a SOBAT! But then Fujita SMACKS Titan! Fujita runs, but Titan follows! TORNADO DDT! And Titan holds on, but Fujita suplexes first! The fans fire up while both men are down! Titan stirs but Fujita grabs a leg. Fujita waistlocks again, and deadlifts, but Titan fights free again.

Titan runs, casadora, but for a leglock! TRAILER HITCH! Then the DEATHLOCK! But Fujita powers up and rolls through! He drags Titan down into his own leglock, and the NEMOS STRETCH! Titan fights, flails, reaches out, but Fujita goes for the arms! Titan fights, fights, and ROPEBREAK! The fans cheer while Fujita lets Titan go. Fujita stalks Titan, drags him up again, and GERMAN SUPLEXES! Fujita holds on, drags Titan up, and GERMAN SUPLEXES again! But Fujita isn’t done there, he drags Titan up for the GERMAN SUPLEX! Bridging cover, TWO! Titan survives the hattrick, but Fujita watches him go to the corner.

Fujita runs corner to corner, but into a BOOT, SOBAT, FRONT KICK, fast hands and a WHEEL KICK! Then Titan hammerlocks and lifts Fujita, YOYO SLAM! Cover, TWO! Fujita survives but the fans fire up with Titan! Titan skins the cat to the top rope, and LA LANZA!! Cover, TWO!! The fans are thunderous, and Titan throws off the armbands! Titan hurries to get a leg, he steps through, but Fujita cradles and rolls to a torture rack! THRILL RIDE!! Cover, FUJITA WINS!!

Winner: Kosei Fujita, by pinfall (gains 2 points; Titan earns 0)

Forcefully ripping victory from the jaws of defeat, Fujita makes a mighty comeback and shoots up the block! Will nothing stop Fujita from becoming the youngest two-time BOSJ winner? Or does El Inmortal still have life going into the final round?

Best of the Super Juniors 33 B Block: El Desperado VS YOH!

The Rogue Luchador is himself the leader of his block, but Direct Drive is looking to change that! Will Yoh shift it into gear and be that much closer to the semifinals? Or will Desperado remind us that HE is the Best of the Super Juniors?

The bell rings and the fans rally up again. Despy steps forward as he stares Yoh down, but Yoh takes his time stepping out from the corner. They circle, and Yoh offers a handshake. Despy isn’t sure Yoh’s serious so he refuses. The two circle, feel things out, and tie up. Despy waistlocks, Yoh wrenches free to wristlock, but Despy rolls, wrenches through, and hammerlocks. Yoh reaches back, slips through and hits a fireman’s carry takeover. Yoh has an armlock, then hammerlocks, but Despy rolls and spins to trip Yoh to a toehold. Yoh keeps his shoulders up, but Despy pulls at the taping on the knee. Despy then KNEES the knee!

Despy has the toehold on tight but Yoh reaches back to the ROPEBREAK! The fans cheer as Despy lets go, and the two reset. Yoh and Despy circle, feel things out, and clinch. Yoh waistlocks, Despy wrenches through to hammerlock, then he spins Yoh to snapmare and headlock. Yoh slips right out to hammerlock Despy! The fans applaud the technical exchange, and Yoh shoots the half to a ghost pin, TWO! Despy scrambles out of the ring while the fans and even Yoh applaud. Yoh waits on Despy as he returns, and the two reset. They tie up, Despy headlocks, but Yoh endures the grind. Yoh pulls Despy’s hair, then pwoers up and out.

Yoh drops down, bypasses, then drop toeholds to run and basement DROPKICK! Despy bails back out, and the fans rally up as Yoh encourages them. Yoh even goes up the corner to get the fans even hotter! Despy is annoyed, but then Yoh fakes the plancha. Yoh laughs at Despy, but then he avoids the sweep! Despy slides in before Yoh actually jumps out. Despy then BOOTS Yoh off the apron, and he drags Yoh up to POST him! Yoh tumbles away, and Red Shoes has Despy stay back a moment so he can check on Yoh. Yoh is okay to continue, so Despy SMACKS him off the apron. Yoh staggers away but Despy follows, to then SMASH Yoh’s knee on the floor!

Yoh writhes but Despy leaves him behind. The ring count climbs and the fans rally up. Yoh is still down at 10 of 20, but he drags himself over at 13. Yoh stands at 17, and he rolls in at 19! But then he rolls right back out for a new count. The fans are torn but Despy goes out to fetch Yoh. Despy YANKS the bad leg, then asks Murata-san for his chair?! Daisuke didn’t earlier, so Despy thinks he can now. Murata says no, he may not. So Despy takes a pen! Red Shoes takes the pen away from Despy, but Despy just CLAWS Yoh’s eyes with his fingers! Despy puts Yoh in the ring, then grabs a leg to LEG DROP on it! Despy then pushes Yoh over so he can tie up the legs.

Despy puts pressure on the Butterfly Deathlock, but Yoh CHOPS! And CHOPS! Despy “falls over” and puts on more pressure! Yoh endures, he keeps his shoulders up, and the fans rally up. Yoh fights around, drags Despy with him, and makes the ROPEBREAK! Despy lets go, but he kneels on the bad leg as he stands up. Despy then drags Yoh up, but Yoh fires a forearm! And another forearm! And another forearm! Despy kicks the bad leg! Despy whips Yoh but Yho FLYING FOREARMS! The fans fire up while both men are down! Yoh goes to ropes, but he runs up to CLOBBER Despy! And CLOBBER him again! Yoh whips, Despy reverses, then Despy dodges Yoh to THROW him to the corner!

Despy runs corner to corner, but Yoh DROPKICKS the legs out! Yoh then grabs a leg to DRAGON SCREW! Both men are down and the fans fire up again! Despy goes to ropes, Yoh grabs a leg, REVERSE DRAGON SCREW! Despy clutches his knee but Yoh drags him up, HALF HATCH PLEX! Bridging cover, TWO! Despy survives but Yoh stays focused. The fans rally up, and Yoh brings Despy in for a suplex. Despy fights it, and he suplexes Yoh in return! The fans cheer while both men are down again! Yoh and Despy stir, but Despy is first to stand. Despy drags Yoh up, but Yoh fires forearms on the leg! Despy KICKS Yoh’s leg, then SHIN BREAKERS!

Yoh hobbles away, but Despy hobbles after him. Despy reels Yoh in for a- NO, Yoh fights free! Despy rebounds, Yoh whips, but Despy reverses to DROPKICK the bad leg! The fans rally as Despy hurries to bring Yoh back up, but Yoh gets the leg! DRAGON SCREW! The fans rally while both men are down again! Despy crawls to the ropes, but Yoh stalks him. Yoh grabs the leg but Despy clings to ropes! Despy BOOTS Yoh away, then SPEARS! Yoh is down but Despy brings him back up to GUITARRA DEL ANGEL! Cover, TWO! The fans rally as Yoh survives, but Despy goes up the corner! Despy FROG SPLASHES! Cover, TWO!

The fans cheer as Yoh survives again, and Despy slaps his bad leg into working. Despy drags Yoh up, but Yoh’s a ragdoll! Red Shoes has Despy hold on so he can check on Yoh. Yoh is apparently okay to continue, so Despy brings him up. Yoh trips Despy to the STAR GAZER CALF KILLER!! Despy endures, reaches out, and the fans rally as he fights his way forward! But Yoh drags Despy back, and GROUND DRAGON SCREWS! And he steals STRETCH MUFFLER??! Yoh is truly becoming a copycat master as he even gets the arm! NUMERO DOS!! Despy endures his own hold as Yoh THRASHES him around!

The fans rally as hard as they possibly can as Despy fights, fights, and makes the ROPEBREAK! Yoh lets go in frustration, but he feels he’s close! The fans rally again as Yoh rises. Yoh vows to end it, and he drags Despy up. Yoh underhooks, ANGEL’S WINGS! And a roll through for the underhooks, PINCHE- NO, Despy wrenches out and LOCO MONO!! Despy snarls, he’s pissed Yoh would try and steal his moves! Despy underhooks for the ANGEL’S WINGS! Then the roll through and the underhooks, PINCHE- NO, Yoh fights the lift and fights free! Yoh KICKS a leg out, then KAMI- NO!! Despy blocks the knee! But Yoh ducks the haymaker! Ripcord and FOREARM!

Yoh then CROSS COUNTERS Despy! Yoh underhooks, but Yoh lifts and tucks, DUDE BUSTER!! Despy copies something from Yoh’s past and both men are down! The fans are thunderous, and Despy rises again! Despy underhooks for SWEET CHOCOLATE!! A shoutout to his buddy, Kasai, and then- NO, Yoh wrenches and EL ES CULERO?!?! YOH WINS!!!

Winner: Yoh, by pinfall (gains 2 points; Despy earns 0)

Despy can’t believe it, but he got caught by his own cradle move! Will he ever live this one down? Or will he just bounce back and win in the final round?

As for Yoh, he catches his breath before he rolls his way over to the apron. Then he has a Young Lion hold him up so he can talk on the mic. As exhausted and beat up as he is, he manages to say, “This is me, the new symbol of the junior division.” Then he passes out! Will Direct Drive have enough gas in the tank and tricks up his sleeve to make it to the semifinals and truly become the Best the of Super Juniors?

My Thoughts:

Another great night for BOSJ, and I am thankful that a few of these matches were quick because this ten match card was a lot to do. And would you just look at the blocks after it was all said and done. Every entrant still alive in the tournament is 5-3, can’t believe they pulled that off. And while I’ve been saying Daiki will find a way to cost someone, seeing as his final opponent is Kosei Fujita, I’m not sure that’s possible. Fujita and Titan had an awesome match, there’s a chance they both win in the ninth round to send them both back to the semifinals for them to fight it out one more time. Yoh VS Despy was awesome, too, and Yoh winning with Despy’s own move was brilliant. I wonder if now is finally Yoh’s time to shine as the guy in the Junior Division.
