MJF Provides Update on Hyperextended Knee After Dynamite Match
AEW World Champion MJF posted a recovery video to Instagram showing himself taking a cold plunge and offered an update on his left knee, which he says he hyperextended during last week’s AEW Dynamite title defense against RUSH. He confirmed he won the match but that inflammation and pain remain, though the swelling has “drastically gone down” since the injury.
MJF credited the cold plunge and Nordic Wave treatment for accelerating his recovery and said avoiding time off is vital for both his career and All Elite Wrestling’s business. The injury led to him being pulled from a scheduled Beyond Wrestling appearance against Bobby Orlando, with Andrade El Idolo stepping in as his replacement.
