Mustafa Ali Set for Open Challenge for TNA International Title at Slammiversary

Mustafa Ali will put his TNA International Championship on the line in an open challenge at Slammiversary on June 28, 2026, the company announced on the June 18 episode of TNA Impact. Ali had an outside chance to be added to the TNA World Title match after on-screen stipulations from authority figure Daria Rae during a tag match, but Nic Nemeth and Mike Santana avoided conflict and the title shot did not materialize.

Ali’s challenger for the open challenge has not been revealed, as TNA added the International Title defense to an updated Slammiversary card that also features Mike Santana vs. Nic Nemeth for the TNA World Championship, Cedric Alexander defending in an Ultimate X X-Division match, Lei Ying Lee vs. Xia Brookside for the Knockouts World Title, and several tag and singles matches.
