Nikki Bella’s “Ciao Bella” WWE Clash in Italy Pitch Was Scrapped

On the latest episode of The Nikki & Brie Show, Nikki Bella revealed she pitched a lighthearted, Emily in Paris‑style vignette package called “Ciao Bella” for WWE’s Clash in Italy. The concept would have paired Bella with stars like Gunther, Oba Femi, Penta, The Judgment Day, Danhausen, the Women’s Tag Team Champions, Brie and Paige in scenes ranging from scooter rides and gelato selfies to a gondola with Gunther and a romantic spaghetti dinner — but despite initial interest from creative, the idea ultimately fell through.

Neither The Bellas nor Paige were on the Clash in Italy card, and Nikki has been sidelined with an ankle injury suffered in March. She has expressed hope for a return at Night of Champions on June 27 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
