NXT Great American Bash Set for June 28, Will Air Live on The CW

WWE announced NXT Great American Bash will take place Sunday, June 28, airing live at 7 p.m. ET on The CW as the brand’s first PLE on the network. NXT head Shawn Michaels confirmed the special start time as part of the new multi‑year partnership; the move follows the expiration of NXT’s Peacock deal and the interim Stand & Deliver broadcast on YouTube.

The date puts Great American Bash head‑to‑head with AEW’s Forbidden Door, which lists a 7 p.m. ET start for ticket holders, while TNA’s Slammiversary avoids direct competition with a 3 p.m. ET kickoff in Boston. WWE did not announce a location for Great American Bash, so it’s presumed to be at the Performance Center, as Forbidden Door is set for San Jose and WWE’s Night of Champions runs in Saudi Arabia on June 27.
