Perros del Mal Reforms, Ambushes El Grande Americano on AAA on Fox

On the June 20 main event segment of AAA on Fox, El Grande Americano was celebrating his Noche de Los Grandes victory and announced plans to challenge Dominik Mysterio for the AAA Mega Championship when WWE NXT talent Karmen Petrovic interrupted. Petrovic’s appearance was followed by Daga, Angel Garza, Berto and Bronco Nima surrounding the ring; the five men and Petrovic brutally attacked Americano, left him down in the ring, then revealed shirts bearing the Perros del Mal name while Petrovic finished the assault with a kick to the head.

Los Perros del Mal originally formed in the early 2000s and were prominent across AAA and CMLL; Daga has ties to the faction dating back to 2012, while Garza, Berto, Petrovic and Bronco Nima are presented as new members and are active on WWE’s NXT/main roster. Daga is also a former AAA Latin American and World Cruiserweight Champion, giving the reformed faction an experienced anchor as they set their sights on AAA’s top stars.
