Piper Niven Gives Positive Six-Week Update After Neck Surgery
Piper Niven says she is progressing well six weeks after undergoing neck surgery, posting on social media that “everything fusing nicely” and confirming she can now turn her head both ways. The 35-year-old, who had the operation last month, added a lighthearted quip about her recovery, and the update follows months on the shelf after aggravating a pre-existing neck injury.
Niven was sidelined after the August 22, 2025 SmackDown in Dublin and has not wrestled since; she previously warned fans that a return could take a long time or potentially not happen at all. While no timetable for in-ring return has been announced, the latest checkup offers a cautiously optimistic sign for WWE’s women’s roster and Niven’s recovery trajectory.
