Rob Van Dam Admits ECW Fans Were Intimidating
Rob Van Dam, the WWE Hall of Famer synonymous with ECW, has acknowledged that the promotion’s fans could be a very intimidating presence. RVD said the hardcore crowd’s intensity and vocal nature made performing in ECW a unique and sometimes daunting experience, even as it pushed wrestlers to raise their game.
He reflected on how that fierce fanbase helped define ECW’s identity and his own in-ring style, noting that the crowd’s passion was both a challenge and a catalyst for memorable matches. RVD’s comments underline how integral ECW’s atmosphere was to the era and to the careers of those who thrived within it.
