Shane McMahon Reflects on Brutal King of the Ring 2001 Match with Kurt Angle
The King of the Ring 2001 encounter between Shane McMahon and Kurt Angle is still remembered as one of WWE’s most brutal contests, highlighted by Angle’s attempt to suplex Shane through a glass partition on the stage. The glass initially refused to give way before Angle ultimately managed to send Shane crashing through, leaving an indelible image in wrestling history.
