SmackDown Holds at 1.089M Viewers as NBA Finals Siphon Audience, 18-49 Demo Edges Up
WWE SmackDown averaged 1.089 million viewers on USA Network last Friday, essentially flat from the prior week but its lowest audience in over three months as Game 2 of the NBA Finals dominated broadcast television. The show posted a 0.24 rating in the 18-49 demo—up 4.3% week-over-week—topped cable in the demo (doubling its closest competition) and finished fifth on cable in total viewers.
Game 2 drew 16.4 million viewers and a 4.75 rating in the 18-49 demo, a major factor in SmackDown’s modest dip (down 0.6% week-to-week). Year-over-year comparisons were steeper: overall viewership was down 23.5% and the 18-49 rating fell 42.9% versus the same week in 2025, and this week’s show was 8.9% below the recent 10-week average in total viewers and 25% below the 18-49 average.
