Sol Ruca Blacks Out Twitter After Fan Backlash Over Birmingham Botch
Sol Ruca appears to have blacked out her Twitter account following fan backlash after a botched spot at WWE’s live event in Birmingham. Liv Morgan was defending the Women’s World Championship in a fatal four-way against IYO SKY, Lyra Valkyria and Ruca when Morgan appeared to injure her ankle after a splash from Ruca; the champion finished the match favoring the leg, and fans quickly criticized Ruca online.
Ruca previously faced scrutiny for a botched Sol Snatcher during a Raw segment with Becky Lynch, and was reportedly advised by Triple H to step away from social media amid intense reactions. Neither WWE nor Morgan have commented on the nature of the injury or any potential impact on Morgan’s title reign; Morgan is scheduled to face SKY in the Queen of the Ring finals at Night of Champions on June 27.
