Swerve Strickland Undergoes Meniscus Surgery, Addresses Long-Running Knee Issue
Following last year’s AEW All In Texas event, Swerve Strickland revealed he opted for surgery to repair a torn meniscus, a condition he now says he had been managing since 2019. The procedure came days after the show, ending years of competing through the injury.
In a new interview with Forbes, Strickland explained his decision to finally take action and undergo surgery, discussing how the issue impacted his in-ring performance and why the timing became right to address it. He framed the choice as necessary for both his career longevity and future in-ring ambitions.
