Titus O’Neil publicly defends Michelle Obama after UFC insult

WWE ambassador Titus O’Neil (Thaddeus Bullard) spoke out after UFC heavyweight Josh Hokit, fresh off a win over Derrick Lewis at the Freedom 250 card, used a post-fight interview to insult former First Lady Michelle Obama. O’Neil posted a lengthy message on Instagram calling the remark “nasty and false” behavior unacceptable, praising the Obamas’ class and saying his response was about human decency rather than politics; UFC president Dana White also condemned Hokit’s comments.

The comments come as WWE executives Nick Khan and Paul “Triple H” Levesque, along with Roman Reigns, attended the Freedom 250 — an event under parent company TKO — and O’Neil continues his public-facing role for WWE while focusing on charity work in Tampa. The 49-year-old, who hasn’t wrestled since 2020, has said he remains open to an in-ring return but is currently focused on ambassadorial duties and community service.
