Crews’ non-compete status remains unknown; if he is subject to a standard 90-day clause from his April 24 release, that window wouldn’t lapse until roughly July 23, while an expired contract could allow an earlier signing. TNA’s booking for Slammiversary on June 28 — where TNA International Champion Mustafa Ali will defend against a mystery opponent — suggests any Crews arrival would likely be targeted for later this year once his availability is confirmed.
