Tommy Dreamer Announces Departure From TNA Wrestling

Tommy Dreamer confirmed on Busted Open Radio that he and TNA president Carlos Silva mutually agreed to part ways, ending a near-decade relationship with the company. Dreamer said he has no ill will, is proud of his work and the people he helped, and acknowledged “everything comes to an end,” while reports indicate Road Dogg has been discussed to join or replace him on the creative team.

Dreamer’s exit is the latest in a string of recent departures from TNA, following releases for Tessa Blanchard, Steve Maclin, Myla Grace and Dani Luna. The company now turns its attention to Slammiversary on June 28, where TNA World Champion Mike Santana defends against Nic Nemeth amid reports Santana’s contract is expiring and WWE interest exists.
