Triple H: ESPN Deal Has Put WWE “Top of Everybody’s Mind”

Paul “Triple H” Levesque says WWE’s partnership with ESPN has pushed the promotion into the mainstream conversation in ways he only dreamed of, calling the exposure “worth its weight in gold.” Since PLEs moved to ESPN in the U.S. last September, WWE content has become a regular part of daytime programming — with WWE ranking as the third-most-discussed sport on ESPN during WrestleMania week and talent appearing on shows like Get Up and First Take — helping the company connect with fans and athletes from other sports.

Ahead of Night of Champions, WWE has leaned into that platform with appearances from Seth Rollins, Trick Williams and commentators Michael Cole and Joe Tessitore on ESPN. The Saudi Arabia PLE airs June 27 with a 1 p.m. ET main card (the first hour simulcast on ESPN), featuring King & Queen of the Ring finals — Oba Femi vs. Jey Uso and IYO SKY vs. Liv Morgan — with winners earning World title shots at SummerSlam; the full event streams on ESPN Unlimited in the U.S. and on Netflix elsewhere.
